UPDATE 2/20 181 jars. New Mycoporn

I am pretty new to this but i do have 3 grows under my belt now and they went well PF tek, WBS casings and a bulk Hpoo grow in the process but I feel that this is a significant grow to mention
Started 1/05/08 and made 181 PF Tek jars, ran out
of materials:(
Spent a good 24 solid hours PCing jars, I have a large PC like 21 qt. 26 1/2 pints fit at once!
I used jars of all sizes 1/4pt. 1/2pt. 3/4pt. and 1pt.

there were still 23 in the PC if your counting
Curious to compare colonization speeds.
Inoculated 1/06/08 using LC's made on 12/02/07 It took 7 hours with bong breaks (724+ inoculation holes)and used 6 entire 150ml LC's all cubensis strains. I am expecting birthing to happen before the end of the month:confused:
Also making new LC's and grain for more spawn and wood chips for new Azures, Pans, and Pouch fungus, all in Quart sized jars.

What do you think?

I havent decided probably Composted Hpoo as i still have 50 lbs. sitting in the cupboard. i may just try casing them with Hpoo let it colonize then case 50/50 and fruit from there. like a monotub but already half colonized.

Thats a crazy amount of cakes, any reason why so many cakes?

Would it not have been easier to use grains, u could probably half the amount of jars using grain

i did it just to do it. I had help Inoculating everything so i didnt have to do that all myself.
Im starting out grains right now (soaking)

Im putting my jars to work I have over 200 of them

Im jealous lol, Wish I even had that many jars to make up :smile:My buddy happens to have cases upon cases of them (used to can stuff) So im in the process of getting some more off him.

Wow. That's fucking awesome. Given that they store well enough when fridged, you could just do grow after grow with that. I don't think I could high five you enough without wearing the skin off my hand. If I didn't believe in god, that would make me.

yeah Ive always been noted to be crazy, I think Im a bit crazy sometimes. so if 181 jars is crazy lets add in a few other things:
181 jars colonizing
72 now fruiting cakes
24 1 pt. LC's
24 qt. WBS being prepared as we speak
60 lb. Woodchips ready for Inoculation
60 lb. Hpoo/coffee casings (4) colonizing

NOW... How crazy am I?

My mother and grandmother can stuff every year, so needless to say I have plenty of jars to work with just lying around collecting dust... So I put them to work for me. 181 jars only cost me $42.00 in Verm/BR to fill. Now do the math thats .23 cents it cost per jar to fill

Anyway what would you do with 181 fully colonized cakes? everyone wants to know. I am going to case some and just dunk and roll some, probably keep a bunch in the fridge until I need them... I dunno.

I want to know what you would do?
