Damn dude you musta got busted in the wrong state. Around here if you get caught with less than four oz of pot, you get a fine. And maybe a few days in jail. Shrooms I dunno, but for only a 1/4oz i'm sure it's not too severe.
A buddy of mine was busted with 3oz of pot, and DUI, and all he had was a $400 fine, and 2 days in jail.

I couldn't agree with you guys more about the DUI thing. I NEVER thought I'd drive drunk, let alone with a car filled with drugs. I hadn't driven drunk EVER before this incident. I was always the person taking peoples keys and bitching at my friends for driving stoned. That might give you some idea of how drunk I was that night. I don't remember getting in the car, and I can't imagine where I was going as I was in a town that I wasn't familiar with. Shit, I don't remember going to the 3rd or the 4th bar or coming home and deciding that driving my drug laden car to god knows where was the sensible thing to do. I blew a .2 BAC 3 or 4 hours after being arrested. So...I was super fucking retarded to do what I did, but I'm using the "temporary alcohol insanity" excuse to partially explain my actions. Since that incident I've given up having more than 4 drinks at a sitting, as waking up after a serious bender having done heinous shit is not the type of experience I want to repeat. I'm actually glad the cops pulled me over because I really could've killed myself and others. Better to wake up to cop lights than to a body on my hood or not waking up at all. Oh - the person before me at my pretrial hearing was charged with vehicular homocide while DUI.

fuck mate, by preparing this post i can see that you actually regret what happened... and what can you do when your a wilde and you have a wilde night??
Drink driving is a shit, and it really is a bad thing simply because you endanger everyne.. as for anyone to crap on about you being caught with illegal substances, i think its ridiculous for people on these forums to get 'highbrow' about this while adding posts about growing psilocybe mushrooms that are illegal in most states of the USA - my advice is to move to a more liberal country.

Sidd, thanks for the post. With all the heat you've taken here over the DUI, I'd bet you almost regret posting. I appreciate your intent to help the community benefit from your horrible experience and I hope this might prompt folks who are being too loose with security to tighten things up.

I didn't bother reading all the posts but I thought you might be interested in my story. This past year I was living in the dorms at my college where I was growing my shrooms. Well a couple months ago I invited some of my friends from home up to party. I had a little bit of shrooms and my casings had just stopped flushing. I had started a new batch of jars but they were a ways from being ready. The day they got up there the talked me into giving them my shrooms that I had been planning on saving for someone else. Well, the next night the cops raided my place cause we were smoking ALOT of weed and someone complained. The fucking cops searched my room against my permission and found everything. They arrested me and called in some lab specialist to check out what all my shit was. When he couldn't figure out what it was, they took it all(plus about $40 of alcahol and 3/4 oz. of weed) and let me go with a minor in possession, poss. of weed, and contributing to a minor(cause one of my friends was 17). I guess that Im damn lucky that I let my friends eat my shrooms. And, to top it off they dropped the charges, damn Im lucky. Thought you would like to hear another story of extreme luck. :) Peace.

i recently moved and had to let one of my buddies babysit all my fruiting casings.. well he had a party and the cops rolled up. well they found them and some weed a few bongs etc... it was about 3 am and the cops just told him to go and turn in the shrooms himself to the police station and he would be in no trouble... they were too lazy..... when he took them in all the cops were wondering what the fuck the "dirt pies" were... all they did was incinerate casings... i count my lucky stars now..... SCARY.........

I was a tad luckier..
I had a very, VERY small party... neighbours complained about the volume... we were doing some shrooms... cop showed up, kinda nice cop... asked us to turn the music down, if we were doing anything bad, we said no... He told us not to smoke weed in the apt, it's illegal and easy to detect, would get us evicted, so it would be more than a legal issue... he left... and came back 2 hours later, when his shift was done, regular clothes. Knocked on the door and said "I'd really like it if I could try some of them pizza toppings you guys were eatting... I know you have some, and it's in your best interest at this point to offer me some. WOuldn't be hospitable if you didn't offer all your guests the same things."
Turned out to be a cool guy, but... DAMN, nearly wet my pants when he came around the first time, nearly shit myself the second time out of uniform... Thought it was a bust...

That's pretty tight DV! I once had a neighbor call the po-po on us for smoking weed in my garage (the door was open cuz it was summer and it got hot) But any ways the sheriff showed up 30 min later in his uniform and we told him that we were just smoking cigs. N e ways the fucked up part is when he came home from work changed and WALKED over to my house! He just lives down the street and asked if we had a bag to sell. Some fucked up shit but now when i need alcohol (i'm 19 and look 15) i just call him up and hook him up with a fat bag!

wouldn't it be easier to just use the same jar the honey came in? You don't need a full gallon of shroom honey. just be sure nobody mistakes it for real honey. also, does the psilo sink to the bottom? would you have to stir it to get an even amount?

The average drunk driver does it something like 85 times before getting caught.
Now I don't advocate drunk driving, it's stupid, but it's not like this guy knew it was like a 50/50 chance he'd get caught. Plus if he was drunk he probably wasn't worried about the shrooms anyway. So yeah he made a bad choice but lay off him.
All you ignorant fools that feel the need to post flames in response to anything and everything you read will eventually destroy yourselves :-P

So what would you guys say would be the best course of actions if say, the cops bust into where you live (dorm, apartment, house, car, whatever) and find a bunch of shrooms and weed? Like... what would you have your lawyer do?
