shroom yields

I am new to mushroom growing im starting off with 12 (1) Quart jars. Does any one know what kind of dry shroom yield I should expect???

welll seeing that your a beginner ...
you are proally goimng to do the pf tek
12 jars = the possablity of 60 g's wet ( thats five g a jar )
BUT
there will proally be some bad ones ... so thats 50 g's ....
and then all the aborts .... s0 thats 30-40 g's
but then you got to provibe a good enivorment so it will take awhile to learn how to do that
so now your at maybe 20-25 g's dry
BUT
more you try
the more you will learn
the more you learn
the bigger yeilds you get .....

Uhhh 1 jar would probably produce 60 grams WET if dunked. You must be thinking dry weight.

Dont go on yield, just grow them and see what turns up!

How about you start with smaller jars!!

Colonization will take a month with 1 quart jars

If he is using quart jars, he is most likely gonna go with grain. Correct? A quart jar of grain will not take a month to colonize, unless temps are low. More like 8-14 days or sooner with a agar wedge or mycelium syringe.

If you use your quart jars as spawn you can yeild alot of fruit. With 12 quarts jars spawned sparingly one can easily yeild 15+ dry oz on first flush.

It depends, if everything goes perfect then you would get an enormous yield BUT if you do it all wrong then you could get 0. It depends on how much time, energy, etc. you are willing to put in.

When I was a newbie I did around that many jars. I did my reading, asked alot of questions, and kept a tight eye on the temps and grow factors. I ended up with about 60 grams dried....That was with casing. Everyone is right, there are way too many factors that decide the outcome.....maybe a range of 20grams to 100grams if your lucky
