let me guess. you go into his apartment and hes got posters of bands from the 70's up until now. He probably designs the place to look like its from the 70's, and he might even have some kind of cloth over parts of the couch? He maybe has books in the living room to let you know hes also into reading, maybe art books on the table for reading material to let you know hes into art also? Ive known so many guys like him, they are all the same. They also are the guys who don't play an instrument, can't paint, and fancy themselves as writers even though they are unoriginal. Kerouac has a section on guys like this in one of his books.
