Patch or start the fruiting process?(pics)
    #750608 - 07/16/02 09:19 AM (21 years, 4 months ago)

My friend recently cased a few jars of EQ?s w/ Schultz Moisture Plus + lyme(supposed to have about 50/50 peat and coco coir w/ some perlite and other shit in there) and also a few jars of Cambodians w/ straight coco coir. It has been 7 days w/ the EQ?s and 6 days with the Cam?s. He has already patched the EQ?s twice and hasn?t had to patch the Cam?s as growth seems to be slower than expected. The EQ?s have a 1/2" layer of verm, 2" slices of colonized grain substrate, and 3/4" of the peat/coco mix. The Cams have no bottom layer, about 1 1/2" - 1 3/4" slices of colonized grain substrate, then 3/4" of coco coir. Conditions have been steady in the incubation chamber @ 85-86F and 98% humidity. Should these be patched again or should fruiting be initiated?
