Rxwoman:
Read the previous posts that has Ryche as the subject... I dont want to wait three weeks for a syringe.
VivaLaRevolution:
Obviously... However if I had wanted to take the time to make a spore syringe I would have read up and how to do it, and I would have done it, but since I *didnt* read up on how to do it, and I asked where i could *BUY* a spore syringe... that should tell you that I have no intrest in making my own.. and would rather buy one... and it dosent take a rocket scientist to figure that out either.

First of all, anyone who complains about waiting for spores needs to make their own prints and syringes. Secondly, chances are, if you just take a few extra minutes and make sure you're ordering spores the right way, you won't have to wait a month!
For example, people who order from PF and request a variety of strains and insist on sending the order to the "slow" address will have to wait! Use your head, people! On the Hawk's Eye site, Ryche asks (or, at least used to ask) people to give him a heads up about what they're ordering before they send money, that way he can get the order ready. So if you want spores from Ryche, send him a VERY SHORT courtesy e-mail.
Anyone who has given a completely negative report about Ryche either a can't grow, or hasn't really ordered from him. And maybe once some syringes were so-so, l but I know from reports from reliable people that he replaced those FREE. He is very flexible with customers!! And if you think his Cambo strain sucks, I invite you to check out my work at http://mushrooms.eshire.net - the first image is the end of day three, the next is day four, the last is day 5. Those were grown on BRF/Verm in an 11"x5"x4" plastic tray! Total substrate colonization in 10 days or so, pinning 5 days later, harvest 5 days after that. 20 days give or take from start to finish isn't bad at all.
Peace.

Dioze1:
First off... I know how to make spore syringes.. however, its hard to make syringes without prints... and if im going to spend the money/time to order prints... I would rather find a site where i can order the syringes.
Second... Im more self reliant than you will ever know.
Third... Im never desperate.
Fourth... You assume too much.
Insomnia:
Thank you... I realise now I was going about it the wrong way :) I will be sure to email him before I send in the payment. Thanks!

Insomnia: Those are some very nice looking shrooms you got! If you don't mind me asking, how many cakes do you have cased there, and what did you use to case; 50/50?

Insomnia,
those pictures are impressive. Day 5 though, day 5 after what? Complete colonization? and total subsrate colonization after 10 days? Well my llama must be doing something wrong then because he has innoculated brf and verm cakes in half pint jars with cambodian spores from The Hawk's Eye a week ago monday ( that would be 8 full days ago) and there's barely dime sized , or smaller patches of colonization showing, in half the jars, and none showing yet in the other half. He's keeping them at a good 80-ish.
what are you doing to get those kinds of results?
thanks for the help, Rxwoman.

avarrin,
You are a touchy sort aren't you?!
First of all, I do not believe you! You do NOT know how to make syringes. If you did you would!!
You can get a print from Ralphster(for free or cheap) and make 5-10 syringes in about and hour or so! You call that work/time? You are rather lazy.
Secondly, if you are so self reliant(pertaining to Mushroom cultivation) then why do you not know where/how to order syringes? If you are so self reliant you should have been able to get ALL this info ON YOUR OWN!(especially the info. that Insomnia supplied! It is right there on the site!!)
Thirdly, if you can't wait three weeks(you have already wasted a week) you are desperate!
Fourthly, I assume nothing! I am merely stating what you have made painfully obvious!
Finally, don't be so damn defensive! It makes it hard for those of us who are only trying to help out!!
Good luck with your efforts!

BTW, there were only a handfull of ppl that waited a month.
Some of those may have been ppl that sent me personal checks, or we were out of the strains they requested.
I'm only 2 weeks behind at this point and will be getting all of those out friday/monday.. and will be caught up and back to mailing 2X a week.
Once again, if there is anything these mushrooms have taught me in life is PATIENCE !!!

Rxwoman: 10 days from inoculation to full substrate colonization in jars. I use my gas oven as an incubator. The pilot light generates just the right amount of warmth to get the job done. Then, it takes around 5 days for the mycelia to pin after casing. Lastly, 5 days from pinning to picking. Those pictures are of the end of day 3 of pinning, then day 4, then day 5 I picked them.
I've found manipulating humidity and temperature during pinning can finish the fruiting process faster or slower depending on what changes you make - but more importantly, I've learned the benefits of evaporative feeding.
But seriously, using the oven's pilot light to incubate, I haven't waited longer than 13 days for the Cambos to take over the BRF/Verm. Good genetics help, too. Also, try injecting a bit more spore water when you inoculate. I'm not saying one syringe per jar or anything (ha ha) but increasing the amount won't hurt.
And yeah, the casing in those pictures is 50/50 peat/verm. I think that tray had a little less than 5 jars worth in it.
Peace.

How do you know any of those people that are sending you those free prints are cambodians or the many other spores your selling now ?
Your getting free spores from most people that want free spores. How many growers out there actually care about the strain they grow and take the time to label and grow them separate. One of my friends recently mixed pf classics with pf ecuadors. Now he is calling the whole casing ecuadors.
So what happens when he sends you free prints and labels them ecuaodrs. What do you do?
All of you should think about this. These almost free spores. How much TLC is going into this. You get what you pay for :(
