Quick question. I'm using this tek and I was wondering...after I first put the cakes in the terrarium and mist them a couple times for a couple hours, do I continue misting while the cakes produce shrooms? How often?

Some say the perlite, if soaked well, will provide sufficient moisture and that you don't need to mist. If you do mist while they are fruiting, avoid spraying the fruits themselves. Spray the perlite.

I mist once a day.

The perlite is pretty much completely necessary for humidity.

HI i am a first time grower. I have a Q about growing mushrooms well i ordered the jars with the verm etc about a week ago and then i took me a week to order the spore needles well my Q is if you have the jars all set up like with everything in it already how long can you wait till you put the spores in there cause its already been a week an half and i still have not done it would that effect anything?
