Yes! As a long time White Stripes fan who liked but definitely wasn't enthralled with the last album (Get Behind Me Satan) I find Icky Thump to be a real return to the form they sported on De Stijl which is my favorite of theirs. I think it's a great record.

It is better than Get Behind Me Satan which was a bit mellow for my tastes.  All six of their albums are worth owning; my favorite is White Blood Cells.

Hmm, I've had this in my bag for a week now and still haven't listened to it.

Think I might have to whack it in my CD player for the journey home.
