Revolutionary Vol 1 and Vol 2 are great. the opening track to Vol 1 is incredible.

If you're into political hip hop check out Austraila's "The Herd", songs like "the plunderers", "burn down parliment" and "77%" are all great.

Public Enemy and Moby- Make Love, Fuck War is a great song released recently too.

Zack de la Rocha- We Want it All is just out of Peer 2 Peer downloads and is going to appear on the F 9/11 soundtrack.

If you're just looking for alot of good political songs that fit the recent situation in the world, this is my current playlist for ya
Pearl Jam -Bu$hleaguer
Lenny Kravitz-We Want Peace
Zach De La Rocha- March of Death
System of a Down- Boom!
George Michael- The Grave
Ani DiFranco- Self Evident
Otep- Warhead
KFMDM- WWIII
KFMDM- Stars and Stripes
Bob Dylan- Masters of War
Ozzy- War Pigs
Green Day- American Idiot
Bad Religion- Let Em Eat War
NOFX- Franco- Unamerican
Neil Young - Rockin' In the Free World
The Clash- Know Your Rights
CCR- Fortunate Son
Dixie Chicks- Travlin Soldier
Operation Ivy-Unity
Foo Fighters- Gas Chamber
No Doubt- Comforting Lie
Anti-Flag- Die for your Government
Sum41- Moron
Ministy- No W
Pennywise- God Save The USA
Tankian, Maynard James Keenan, Pete Yorn, Morello, Flea, Brad Wilk and Jonny Polonski- "Where the Streets Have No Name" (u2 Cover)

Depeche Mode- People are People
Devo- Freedom of Choice
Marvin Gaye- What's Goin On
Elvis Costello- (What's So Funny 'Bout) Peace Love And Understanding
John Lennon- Imagine, Working Class Hero, God

Perfect Circle's new cd should be a great collection of political covers too.

Nah,he's just alright. I like some of the shit he has to say but his style is weak. He could make his points come across better if he didn't just say mumble the shit, his delivery reminds me of Lloyd Banks from G-Unit.

Yeah, I dig Immortal Technique. He's a great MC, about on par with Paris. He's got the album Verbal Jihad. Good stuff. But the best political rap album of late is Dead Prez -Revolutionary But Gangsta. Excellent!!!! Dope as fuck. I am also looking forward to the new A Perfect Circle album. And I just saw Ani DiFranco on her Vote Damnit tour and she is awesome! Very inspiring, though the only ones to go to her concert or buy her albums piss themselves over anything she might say. Preaching to the choir. But I am always down with musical artists who come with an educated stance on current issues. As long as they understand what they be yapping about.

I've always liked Dead Prez... but they're a little too much "hate whitey". Go to a show and you'll see what i mean, they spend have their time on stage dissin, poking fun at, and blaming white people for everything.

Kinda made me happy my white ass didn't pay a cent for their music. I just wished i got my money back from the show.

Grab Immortal Technique - Dance with the Devil, really good lyrics and good storytelling on his part, probably the favorite of his tracks even though it is semi-depressing.

I used to like him quite a bit, I've got rev. 1 and 2.. but after seeing a few of his underground battle videos.. I really lost a lot of respect for him..

Hes an arrogant bigot asshole prick with no respect for anyone else. In his songs he makes claims of being a big deal, but hes really just on par with other groups and mcs he is battling. Revolutionary? psssh.. just listen to beef and broccoli... hes dead straight wrong on that, but his arrogance keeps that from his eyes. =\

If you really want to hear some good hip hop, check out:

Looptroop - The Struggle Continues
Atmosphere - Seven's travels
Binary Star - Masters of The Universe
Sweatshop Union - Sweatshop Union
Swollen members - Bad Dreams

I'm not saying tech is bad.. but he certainly isn't incredible, and I have a hard time liking such a prick. =P
