oh something that might help ya is see how all your stuff is resting on the perlite.well if you put chicken wire over it and then zip tie it off the perlite you will have more surface area on the perlite which will increase the humidity.thats what i ended up doing i will post a pic when i get time.But dont laugh! i have pink and yellow and red zip ties lol only ones i could find lol.

ATM my humidty is 99% and i took all the tape off the top and about 1/4 from the sides...so i think im doing good. i mist/fan 2x a day... :smile: and the light is on a timer for 9 hours a day.

so i should be good now...just waiting for pins lol

OH i get what you mean lol.... you zip tied the chicken wire HANGING over the perlite and put the containers of chicken wire to make the surface space from under where the containers used to sit. :wink:

lool i just checked my FC and Humidty was down to 90 lol so i misted again and BAM its 100!............. so i cover a couple holes back up....

IDK....you have more holes in yours than me. though you have high humidity all the time! :frown:

Whats with the HUGE Polygone Cake....was is a Bulk container you just flipped out and put in there?

It looks like your FC is small than mine...or those are HUGE containers.

lol fc is about 100 quarts or so the big cake thing is a manure/compost mix that i didnt have enough casing material for so i decided to flip it and fruit like a cake lol.the other is the same just a normal cased sub though.i mist pretty frequently since my casing layer likes to dry out so i mist 3 times a day maybe thats my trick lol i dunno.4-5 inches of erlite in mine has been getting 95% minimum for about 3 weeks.

i put these cakes into the FC on the 24th and its now the 29th!

thats 5 days, although on the 25 i took the cakes out to put more perlite in...shouldnt i see SOMETHING after 5 days....humidity has been 100 with 3 mists/fan a day. and i have a Grow light set on it for 9 hours a day (the grow light turns on and off lol by iteself, like on 5 min and off 1 min lol or something wierd like that). WHATS GOING ON! SHOULDNT I SEE SOMETHING!?

it can take as long as 14 days to see primordia or pins.I would start to worry after 14 days.More than likely the humidity wasn't in the best nor was the Fae for the first few days and could lead to a delay.I starting fruiting mine almost 2 weeks ago and now am getting pins.genetics also play a pretty big role.

Yeah, I swear cakes made with Ralph's B+ will fruit even if you douse them with gas, light 'em on fire, roll them around in baking soda, crush them up and sprinkle them on your radiator. I have seen and heard less forgiving results from other strains, though never side-by-side.

Maybe that's just my experience. :smile: Anyway, FAE is going to matter more in the triggering of pins than the difference between 90% and 100% RH. The RH at pinning will help determine size of fruits, though.

Enjoy. I don't know that it's actually unique in this regard from other B+ strains, but I do know I've had great luck with it. Not the most amazing pinsets you've ever seen from any strain, but definitely the heartiest mycelium and the most willing to pin under imperfect conditions.

i think your the only other person that i've seen do this. i cut up the bottom of some water bottles and made little stands out of them...

I just got off work and to my surprise MY FIRST 2 PRIMORDIA.....But I went to buy some new shoes and once I got home my parents where home and they threw all my casings away!! FUCKING SHIT!!!...

This is the day I will never forgive her, this is the day she took away my truly love hobby and why I wake up in the morning, this is the day she chose the government over True personal freedom. These are the times when people fear the government, when it should be the other way around and the government should fear the people.
I’m not pissed off about her making me throw away my casings, it’s that I did So much research and took the effort to make things perfect and then it was crushed. It’s like researching to build your dream home and you being ½ way done and someone saying you can do that and takes it all way. Without paying or anything.
What really gets me is that she chose government over ones personal freedom; she chose to live a life of conformity. She showed how complete and total control by the government is getting into people. She will not fight for a just cause, she says she believes in. She will quiver in fear and fall back to her knees in the process of government which does everything but help to reinsure complete freedom, and hold our rights. I see the one step she took as a step towards complete government control. She quivered, at laws created by people who crave money and who take away freedoms which are god given rights, only to replace them with a sense of freedom, to make us happy with what they say we can have. Capitalistic basterds.
Our Government is corrupt and this event today has proven to me that everything the government says should be taken as false. They tell people lies, they corrupt only to gain monetary value, which is also only society conformity.
My life has forever changed by mushrooms although I’ve never had them and never got the chance to grow mine all the way. They have talked to me; they touched me they managed to change my life forever. I will never think the same about my parents, who say they don’t like the government and yet conform. Nor about the news, or anything government related.
My life is now like the matrix. I was in a world of hiding, a place for your mind, a place to conform and follow all of society’s norms, so you can fit into a life which they deem desirable. A norm which can only be achieved over a small period of time called life, after which these norms mean nothing. These norms in which everyone works so hard to acquire, which is supposedly made up by the people, are not even deemed correct by a majority of the population. I am now set free, I see the light people talk about now and in the 50's and 60's. I will fight from here on in. I’m no longer neutral and kept stupid by fear, I WILL strive to be a raging prohibitionist. I will fight for the just cause to live free with what god has given us, and will never EVER live the life of a puppet again.
Life’s short, don’t waste it trying to conform to the rules of a society that does not matter in the end. The average life expectancy of an American is 73. Out of the millions of year the earth has been here, he stays only 73. If you live true to yourself, and live free in the end, when you’re on your deathbed, you will realize you lived just the way you wanted and won’t think, what if I did this or that? You will have lived through exactly what you wanted to. And from that point, your own personal religion affairs will happen. Whether its heaven where you will be places by deeds throughout your life. Or possibly Buddhism where you are measured and if you lived full, and completely you will be reborn. Or any other religion for that matter. You will see that anything that happens after death does not include the basic rules of society you must endure for this short span.
That’s all I have to say at this moment. With that being said I will NEVER stop growing shrooms but rather I just need to change my ways. I will now be growing invitro; any links anyone has for good info is much appreciated.
