Everyone's so freakin paranoid. Narc here, narc there. DEA reading the shroomery. blah blah bullshit.

If so, then at least one person would have responded with a single story about any one person from here being arrested as a result of their activity on this message board.

I think it's all fairy tales.

no hookup's on the shroomery just you wait. If I do get popped, all I ask is you send me acid in jail...

no one posted any stories because they're in jail, people can't post on the shroomery from prison

A month or two ago a guy that always posted in the botanical forum got busted and they took all his plants and cactii. I'm sure he got caught from posting pics of them all the time.

yeah, I remember that, any word on what came of his ordeal?

growing pot is a lot different than growing cacti

i don't think it's so obvious that he got caught through the shroomery, confiscating computers seems like standard operating procedure

Anyway, there could be a possibility that it was through the shroomery, but really I don't see how they can use that as proof unless you featured yourself and maybe your house address in every photograph.

Speaking strictly for myself, I for one have to date never heard of one confirmed case where someone got busted because of shroomery activities. Usually when they do, it's about the 10.000 plant grow op in their fragrant toolshed or the unwrapped kilo of mushrooms on top of their dashboard when they are pulled over.

Likewise I've never heard of cases where shroomery post contents were used to any extent in a courtroom.

That doesn't mean it doesn't happen, but here's a member of 5 years and well over 10K posts who's heard nothing of it.

People are usually busted because of real-world activities, that often have a degree of bad thinking or bad luck to them.

They always take the computer. So they can prove you were using the internet to learn whatever you were doing.

Not sure,, he's ok i think.
He got all his plants back (except the weed).
I don't think he had many plants and it's a first offence so he should be fine.
Probably just awaiting a court date, and possibly a fine.

My brother told me some kid had pics of his growing weed on myspace, and that's what got him busted. My question is, and it's a big one: Can/would a judge sign a warrant based on a picture? How do you know that the picture is not old? A WARRANT SIGNED? Think about it?

I'd really like to hear more on this. My eyebrows are up.

anytime a dozen cops are in your house and find something worthy of a conspiracy
charge they seize the computer, I had 2 taken several years ago.
