Here is an ez solution... don't post pics with your face in them! Criminals that like to brag are the ones that get caught, I figured that out a long time ago.

What if the computer they took uses XP Professional and you have your accounts password protected with highly encrypted passwords... would they still be able to bypass that somehow and get into your files??

Easy. Any XP computer with a password for logon can simply be hooked up as a slave drive and every file can be viewed. That's just a tard way to hide your files. If you seriously have stuff you need to be hiding, you need to encrypt the files with at least 128-bit encryption, you're probably better off with encryption over 256-bit.

one time a few years ago some guy came on boasting that he broke into a cops house on valntines day weekend and wrecked the place, stole the cops gun, threw it in a ditch, said things only the perp would know....
and then was dumb enough to mention that it was in retaliation for him getting raided in mid march.
snd that he snuck back home through the woods between their properties

pretty easy for a cop to figure out who did it...

he poseted two more times mentioning how he would never get caught.

and suddenly was never seen or heard from again.

HAHAHA Give me 2 min with your hard drive and we will see what highly encrypted means. Highly encrypted passwords only work when the O.S. you are using recognizes the Security of the disk. Use a live boot and there is no more passwords to be encrypted just a open disk.

Also If you encrypted your files enough that they couldn't open them. then you have probably gotten into a illegal encryption length and will get charged for that.
