musical guilty pleasures you still listen to on occasion
    #6839537 -

and you cannot say blink 182. that's everyone's shameful musical indulgence.

for myself, i must say on occasion i will listen to a song or two of gwen stefani, sum 41 (the Does This Look Infected album - honestly, i still think it's pretty rockin', but i wouldn't tell anyone but my good friend and the anonymous users of the internet), and the alkaline trio.

i'm sure i have more, but these are the three that came to mind immediately.

If it made me feel guilty, I wouldn't listen to them

Still, some might consider Electric Six, Mindless Self Indulgence, and Madonna as some

well often times people will listen to music that they know doesn't have high musical merit or require much talent simply because it's incredibly catchy or nostalgic.

Really new agey stuff.  Like nature sounds with ambient music or really out there fantasy type stuff.  I downloaded "fairy heart magic".  Lots of ethnic instruments and dream like lyrics but the whole title and concept behind it makes it something I would avoid talking about to anyone but close friends.

No no no. I, do, NOT, listen to Blink 182. Ahh god... never.

I remember being at a party and a bunch of little punk girls and one femmy boy were talking about how great Blink is and how most people don't get them. And they will never be totally mainstream, they're too unique etc.... :suicide: I swear to got I  was close to slitting throats.

Meanwhile when I spoke about other bands that really do deserve some attention like Broken Social Scene, only a few people noticed. Fucking retards.

Blink will never be fully mainstream?

Anyway... as far as stuff I feel guilty about... well Death Cab for Cutie is pretty cool. But I liked them allot more when I was lonely and depressed.

Walking around listening to Death Cab waiting(and hoping) to fall in love again  is always great when you're lonely.

wtf how do you associate rocks and toys in the attic with permanent vacation?  most aerosmith purists disowned them for vacation and beyond

not really ashamed of what i listen too, but a lot of in flames fans disown their new releases but i like them.

I love Death Cab! But it's not a guilty pleasure, as everyone knows. Umm.. let me see.. I guess my guilty pleasure would be some Imogen Heap, because it's so girly. But she has some good songs.

Imogen Heap
Early Alanis Morrisette
Michael Jackson
The Cranberries
Some Filter
The occasional Korn or Limp Bizkit
Lagwagon

For the record I hate Blink 182.
