The possibility of us just being artificial intelligence?
    #6804496 -

Sorry for posting so many topics.

I smoked last night, and when I smoke I often have a lot of good thoughts about reality. I was just thinking... the universe is a gigantic place. Plug many universes into the equation, and it's infinitely bigger.

IF creating artificially intelligent life that just "lives" it's own respective life on a computer chip, possibly with billions of others, is possible... then millions of civilizations probably have gotten that far, and it is only realistic to assume that a good deal of intelligent life in existence is actually artificial. Furthermore, what if artificial life can create more artificial life, and so on?

Just some trippy thoughts grounded in wordly reality.

I've thought about this so much. Though about how maybe the kingdom of heaven has already came and the way they thought of bringing more souls into it is by creating a matrix of sort where people slowly put together the puzzle and discover it for themsevles. Interesting eh.

It wouldn't be so far fetched to think our entire civilization just might be a microchip were all plugged into. Our perception that this world we see with our eyes is the real and only world is quite flawed.

Also, on the last mushroom trip i had, i knew the revelation of how life worked. But of course i forgot it. I forget the detail but the way it worked was like 2 divided by 3. You just get an endlessly repeating 6. That was how life worked, we live in a system that has no end because it had no beginning. It Can't begin because it simply repeates and repeates the before and after.

Damn i certainly wish i could remember how it exactly worked. If i had only written it down. That night, every question you could have about existence i could have answered.

Get an mp3 player, hang it around your neck, and set it to record. Talking things out to yourself on mushrooms is always interesting.

:cool: I find myself interpreting our existance in the same way. This life is a introduction to how the universe works. I love to think about the fact that time is nothing but the relatively of events and is infinite. More then likely consciousness has evolved into some higher form eons ago. We have stumbled upon the infinitum my friends :smirk:

This reminds me of the movie The 13th Floor. A guy and his buddy have built a machine that is fully immersive VR. You lay down on a bed thingy, and you wake up in an alternate reality. Some weird stuff starts happening, his friend gets "replaced" mentally by a character from the VR world, and he finally discovers that he is just a made-up character in a VR world that somebody else made.

Kinda trippy :smirk:

--------------------
Once, men turned their thinking over to machines in the hope that this would set them free.
But that only permitted other men with machines to enslave them.
