Our sources are off, because of a shift in the Roman calendar's (the Christians screwed things up in the 4th century, and hence our true calendar is off--they messed up their calculations) (mis)representation.

What we should all be concerned about is the year 2016. So, you've got an extra 4 years. Not that it helps much (what are we going to do with the extra 4 years?), but, just so everyone knows.

i don't think that math has anything to do with reality at all

how did the mayans calculate "2012" and how does it correlate to the progression of our calendar.

I reckon we'll (well other people - not me) spend the next four years making preditions for 2018, 2020, 2021 and the rest for when 2016 doesnt happen, just like every single other prediction of this sort hasnt happened.

people need to stop putting their heads in the shadows.

When I smoked pot I was convinced that because my drivers license had my fingerprints on it, that if I threw away an empty bag police would look through the trash and get my fingerprints off of it and arrest me, so I drove out of town to throw my baggies away.....

All it takes is one assumption to create an eventual dogma, this case the assumption being that my casual and discrete marijuana consumption somehow caught the attention of the authorities, who were just lurking to "get me".

2012 is peace, stop fretting.

Do not be concerned with exact dates but rather with seasons. It would ruin God's plan of salvation for us to know the EXACT date, but we can know the season. Seek God to know the TRUTH. Ask him, he will tell you.
