casing vermiculite ect

i was wondering what possible solutions there are to vermiculite. i have heard it isnt being carried anymore in some places and was wondering if anyone had any ideas on what to case a brf cake with. also what should i case birdseed cakes with. could one possible case a brf cake with birdseed?

You can case with coir.
Just sterilize it first.
Just do a search for gro-brick on the net and you'll find plenty of places to buy it.
coco coir works pretty good.

i had the same problem here, none of the 400 wal-marts i have in my area, carry anything like that. if you have a lowes home improvement shop around you, go into thier garden section, i have been to a few, just to check and see, and everyone carries it. i brought a couple of bags, because they are inexpensive, and i wont have to go out and get anymore for a while
