I accept everything about myself that I am aware of perceiving. Sometimes I become conscious of ways that I wasn't aware of where I wasn't accepting myself and try to correct it.

I have hang-ups.  Lots of them.  Every day I become more aware of them, but I often cannot summon the willpower to go deeper into their roots--the power just isn't there, isn't accessible to me sometimes.  I'm working on that, and it will come in time. 

Right now I am having trouble accepting my current situation, even though it is without a doubt the best I have ever been in.  My trouble, while it stems from deeper issues, is manifesting itself in the form of, well, a very serious crush.  I haven't ever felt this way about a girl--I've been around the block, thought I'd been in love, the whole shebang, but never had this feeling--and sometimes it drives me insane and I feel like if I don't have her here right now, this second, I won't feel right.  When she's around I'm happy, when she's not there is always an air of self-doubt.  This attachment runs deep and I think at the heart of it is my own fears about relationships, self-worth, reciprocity, etc.  On a positive note, it has motivated me like hell, to work out, eat healthy, pick up my school work, and most importantly spend a lot of time meditating (thrice daily if I can manage it) and generally reflecting on my actions and motivations.

I accept myself.  :heart:  My personality-structure needs to be reminded of it a lot, though.

I think one can only accept themselves once they stop comparing themselves to others and struggle to be different for the sake of sticking out/being different.

I dont think anyone seeking body modifications such as tattoo's, piercings etc.... really accept themselves for who they are.

yes, clothing... toy? i dont get what you mean. Car? if you mean like a 40 year old getting a 2 seater mid-life crisis car, then yes... if you mean getting a car so they can get to work, then no.

Why must one define "who they are" by how they were born? Is not one's personality more definitive?

Of course, the whole idea of accepting oneself for "who they really are" is a silly notion, because it assumes an ongoing self. As the Buddha taught, there is no self. All things are transient. All that we are is flux.

I don't think I do, but i'm learning.

I judge myself as having equal amounts of good and bad, whereas I think I need to recognise more that good and bad are neutral states when seperated from my own judgement of what's good and bad. I'm making something into something it's not.

*edit* It's not an easy question, because if you accept yourself, you judge yourself as being something you're not. But when you're nothing, nothing is there to be accepted or not accepted, acceptance itself is nothing also. Otherwise, I guess I don't accept myself, as I create both good and bad inside and outside of me.
