Ah but two good things that one does, [raising doubt] and and making a [quick defense],

but what creditbale knowledge would there be if one didn't question its source

I think that only so much awareness can be gained by understandings of fictional writing, or acts of false presausian, false ideas, no legitimate backing, so it is rational to conduct an acurrate research of reality as it stands today, If the story came as heresy then it has to be regarded as heresy,

Well many people do take avantage of me........Costs me thousands of dollar a year I guess.........But the rewards from others off set the set backs......Not the best way of saying it but still I hope you understand.................Besieds when I help someone out I expect nothing back.............when I borrow something and I don;t get it back I don't borrow to that person until things are returned but I still love them teh same. Loving ohers does not mean to not love yourself..........

I certainly did emerge in this thread in a constructive manner. I asked a question in order to gain more insight into the matter. Asking questions is a good thing for discussion.

 all things are hearsay......oh wait you mean the story can be collaborated Hun ?? well this is the wrong place for that.....

OK lets say this......EVEN if everything a poster says about his own personal life is a big fat lie.........it is the point if the story that really matters. Or the wisdom in a Post is what is to be conveyed....whether you think a guy is full of shit about his life is never the point in here.................If it is your only putting blinders on and can not see the real discussion at hand

Exactly. Anyone who proposes a topic for discussion does so out of interest in furthering understanding of that topic, for oneself and for others. When someone inquiries into the understanding and experience that serves as a source for one's conclusions, that is a golden opportunity to provide more understanding.

We all have our life experience, and providing insight into that will start to build a foundation that transforms simple assertions and heresay into something with basis and value. Discussions will result, and not simply sermons.

Once again you are side stepping a thread and will not get in on the discussion..............We are talking about putting others first and the results of such things. We are not having a talk about your laws on how a discussion should or not should be laid out.

I asked a question that directly pertained to the topic at hand. I chose to respond to the replies from that point. I have side-stepped nothing.

You want to be trully free from everything ???? and be HAPPY and JOYFUL ??

Guess what ? it has nothing to do with "Self "

Self is the trap, the prison, the bottom of the can from which we scream from.............

WAKE UP kids

Freedom is found in others and the needs of others. If you spend time focused on others your needs will be met by others. When you put others first they love you back and put your needs before thier own. That is the way it works........Freedom is found in Love

When you put effort into Love, which is others needs, you get effort back. Let me put it liek this

If you spend all you efforts on yourself how much effort did you get ? The effort of one focused on himself

BUT,

If you put the effort of many on yourself thru loving others what do you get ? The effort of many and the productivity of many focused on one.

Love will grow.

Fuck'em all will die

I can only tell you how far I have seen some people go in life.......spiritualy, finacialy, family, all things, etc.... BY LIVING FOR OTHERS FIRST

Funny thing...I used to spend time consouling state inmates and teh only time I have seen the idea of " Fuck'em all I am out for me " Blossim into it's full potential...............

Life is all about others not about you. What yo uwants will be found in the wants of others....The bottom line is we want someine to love us and you get that by loving others.Freedom is Loving others and them Loving you

Yes but people do prosper thru lying and cheating, which one might construe as being entirely selfish.

Only the individual can gauge whether or not the individual is successful. Their experience is relative only to themself. There is no higher perspective from which they can be judged - their life only pertains to their own life.

This does not mean that we cannot learn from what we perceive about their own life, and apply it in our own life, simply that we are not their judge, that we do not know their experience or what they gain from it. We can observe their behavior and its effects within reality, but we do not experience their experience and cannot make assumptions as to the worth and meaning of their experience.

For the sake of argument let say that Swami is the little man behind the curtain ~who cheats at cards~ With the wealth he wouldn't be lonely or lack for amusements and if he chats with other mind-readers then he wouldn't lack for company in that respect either. So you maybe giving out comforting advice from the library while Swami is smothered with girls and whiskey in a highclass salloon. For all I know Swami could very well own this site and be privy to all content.
edit:What would the selfish bastard lack?

 well if you don't really know what life's all about then continuing this any farther is pointless................

Sluts and whiskey gets boring after awhile.....all outside stimulants do....The only lasting thing in life is the Love we share.Thats why the majority of people still have good relationships with the parents and family. That is why people say" Family first or Blood is thicker than water".......Admit it or not the Love we receive is the very measure from which a man can say he has a good life or not. IF you are ever sick and possiably dying in some hospital......do you want some paid slut there or a loving wife, daughter or you mom ?

" A Man's success in life can be measured by how many people show up at his funeral"

Honestly, If I were dying in hospital I wouldn't want to burden anyone, and it wouldn't be a burden to a paid nurse.

If I could give my parents anything they wanted I predict they would want the perfect 'Yes' person in their lives (a paid slut in other words)

Face it! The Swami of the argument is our role-model! Let's all lie, cheat & steal so we can present our loved ones with what they want - paid nurses!

I see a major flaw within your statement.

Quote:

If you or anyone else is wanting to find or attain thee "true" freedom, and they do find it, then all those things won't matter. Things such as family will just be. Spirituality I assume would depend upon the person, and finances would be obselete. There is no need to
"go far" (in the general sense of success and accomplishment) if one is free.

And please remember, the freedom you speak of is not the same for everyone.
