Scary yes, but its kind of a trade off, while i may not have any choice in what i do, atleast i have the comfort of knowing that whatever i do, it is exactly what i had to do. So cross your fingers and hope god likes you, or atleast in the end it will all be worth it (if thats what you are faited to do). But i wonder if even god can have free will, because if there is only god, or even if there isn't just god, if god is a thinking conscience entity he will likely take an action because of a cause, or a randomn action, either way no freewill. Even if god is the only thing, even nothing, can be a cause. The lack of something has the same potential to cause something, as something has to cause something else. So maybe because there was no thing other then god, god got bored and that boredom caused god to create this, or dream this, or whatever, or maybe god was lonely.
