Powerfull spiritual healing?
    #5914838 -

I had a good discussion going in the pub
http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Cat/0/Number/5904389/an/0/page/1

I wanted to ask if you people knew anything about healing?

I got a good book on negative entity problems and possession and theres plenty of ways to defend yourself againt these things, still getting rid of possession can be tricky.

It would be cool if i could meet someone as spiritually advanced as Jesus  :tongue2:

Everybody on the planet has demons. Some may deny it or pretend otherwise, but even they have demons. Fighting with them only gives them strength. The best way to work with demons is to accept them, embrace them, and love them like misguided children. You will never be able to escape them, so might as well make peace with them.

And yes, it is entirely possible to make peace with them. And once you do, they won't really be demons anymore. They're only demons as long as you fight them.

You know, little elf like creatures that run around inside your head and fuck with you.

I joke, I joke, I kid, I kid.

By demons I mean aspects of yourself that you find to be unpleasant or that you otherwise just don't like. For instance, some of my demons are anger and self-doubt.

You state that one will never be able to "escape" them. What do you mea by that, then? Do you mean that you will always have to deal with anger and self-doubt? Or simply that one cannot run from one's problems (escape).

Acceptance is the first step, but then one is capable of transcending thoughts and behaviors if one consciously applies new thoughts and behaviors. Anger and self-doubt are as impermanent as one allows them to be.

I think the best analogy I've heard for mental formations such as these is seeds.

Everyone has wholesome/healthy/beneficial seeds and everyone has unwholesome/negative/harmful seeds. These seeds are watered all the time by yourself and by others. And when one isn't mindful, this watering happens without you even knowing it!

Anger and doubt are unwholesome seeds that have been watered and have grown in my consciousness from various conditions. If I'm able to stop nourishing these plants and stop letting them be nourished, then eventually they will return to a dormant state of just being seeds rather than plants. They will still be there, but in an unmanifest state.

transcending thoughts and behaviors if one consciously applies new thoughts and behaviors

Exactly right. If instead of watering the unwholesome seeds, you consciously water wholesome ones, then the wholesome ones will grow and the unwholesome ones will eventually return to being unmanifest seeds.

But the unmanifest seeds do not simply vanish, they are still there. That's what I mean by being unable to escape. Once one has returned the anger plant back to a seed, it's not that one is suddenly incapable of becoming angry. There is still the seed of anger there. One is just aware of it, at peace with it, and chooses consciously not to water it or let it be watered.

Well, that makes sense. I'd have to imagine that everything is maintained in the subconscious mind.

trouble in health or otherwise is often a blocked flow
finding it directly can be very difficult
some get very good at using proxies such as demons to locate and fix the sickness.

even acupuncture seems to be a proxy system of a type, i.e. you cant see the pin connecting to the sick part and healing it but you feel the result afterwards or immediately.

some can heal using color or sequences or music as proxies.
I have no doubt that it is real.
it does not mean that the color is medicine
but they way they arrange it and use it is the medicine.
the treatment can be either effective or not.

some healers become famous and are never understood directly - medically I mean.

Jalruza - Im currently learning about spiritual healing during my free - time. Mainly to do with Shamanic healing and such beliefs, though, I've been trying to incorporate many other spiritual aspects of psychological and christian concepts. I'm not totally sold on the idea of invisable demonic spirits, though my personal experiences force me to believe in them. I wont go into detail, but I found some very real and usefull changes have helped me to aliviate any spritual vulnrabilties that may leave us open to such forces. Surrounding yourself with sacred and healing articles and objects, pictures, things which bring a power presence of peace and healing into your room, into your inner world. Try to avoid negative actions, words, thoughts, feelings...Take control when they begin to infiltrate your consiousness. Start praying and focus these prayers on positive, healing, and very natural, beutiful things. Go out into nature, preferably during the morning before sunrise and pray to the rising sun as it breaks the horizon. One thing I can asure you, is that you can defeat such things, if you allow them to exsist like you do. Somtimes we must become radiate light energy in the form of personal liberation and control, you must change so that no sin or negative presence is attracted to your spirit. Becoming aware of a negative presence doesn't neccesarily mean your the one at fault either, just learning to be more consious of beuty rather then evil is a step towards the place and exsistence in peace. It takes some time to completly cleans your life, but it is possible, its just a matter of how deep you've let the infection go and what steps you need to take to release them.

Your the creature living in a tortured state of mind, I imagine demon's know this and exploit it, our weaknesses and despair. If people choose not to believe, thats perfectly fine for them, because ignorance breeds freedom in this regard. So...You can continue to live as unrestrained, ill-spiritual beings, or take a step towards that devine exsistence where no form of supernatural or phycological force can even stand to be around. Its truly a battle, you will learn to defend and rise above it in time and with the right direction. I pray you will find this strength soon.

WIZOLZ

I hear you man! Yeah, thats what im talking about, praying to the rising sun and stuff. Great stuff!

Im in a position at the moment where im trying to sort of take off and start a career and earn some money and THEN delivering myself away from this problem will be soooooo much easier.

Unfortunately the thing inside me knows that and will do everything it can to halt my progress, goes anything from simply affecting my sences and causing me to take weak directions and make poor choices to screwing up my job interviews in wild ways. Its very very annoying.

There are many other ways how it affects me negativly. I need to find some leverage to fight thing thing.
