The internet as an egoless realm

As I sit here I realize we come together in this artificial unbiased drug like realm, where anything goes. A place this is no "I", there is no egotistical superior position, I cant sit here and tell you I know life better than you....The only impressions or EGO's that are within this realm are only in your own mind, created through your own perception and imagination. (note the strong emphasis on "you")
This place we are all equal, where we are ALL in this together.....Unity all the way!
-------------------- "That's the story moving from the NO to the YES. All of life is like, no thankyou, no thankyou, no thankyou. Then ultimatey it's YES i give in, YES I accept, YES I embrace."

I don't know. I've seen some pretty huge egos on this board. In some cases, I think people's egos may be enhanced on the internet.

Yes but, as in real life. Another's ego is only as big as you allow it to be, What effect another's persona has on you is completely your own responsibility. Ego is a thing not a reality of your life. Unless of course the smaller ego can not understand this.

I would venture to say it would be far worse than any scary bedtime story, revelations included.
more like a mix between ghost in the machine, lawnmower man and terminator 1 + 2

The internet is the biggest ego trip in human history....it is a cultural ego trip. The collective ego of human pop culture is on display here like no other place. Is is useful? Yes. Is it fun? Hell, yes. Do not be fooled, however, in thinking that it is some pure spiritual realm. It is the greatest device for cultural programming ever created...for better or for worse.
-------------------- "A warrior is a hunter. He calculates everything. That's control. Once his calculations are over, he acts. He lets go. That's abandon. A warrior is not a leaf at the mercy of the wind. No one can push him; no one can make him do things against himself or against his better judgment. A warrior is tuned to survive, and he survives in the best of all possible fashions." ― Carlos Castaneda

The interentet is what you make of it, if you want an ego trip, you can find one, if you want to debate reason, then it does become egoless to a certain extent, because everyone is trying to find a better angle, or viewpoint on the subject matter, and everyone wants to be regarded in some type of accepted fashion,
