The cloner was an OG design, so I dont have the original link. But a google search yielded these results, which are identical.

You dont need any nutes at all, just tap water. Not even rooting hormone.

P.S. Dont use a timer as suggested in the one article. It has been concluded that this can take longer to root your clones by several OG members who duplicated this project. Just let the pump run 24/7, under 24/7 lighting.

Wow, no nutes at all?  Doesnt the tapwaters PH and chlorine fuck with things?  I was under the assumption that you needed to put nutrients in the resevoir, pretty much all commercial cloning products reccomend it.  Thanks for the links man, ill be looking into this.  Im planning a move in august so i dont know if ill be able to get any new projects started until then.

Always flowin- I have no problems with hydro, and in fact ill be trying a bubble bucket type setup with my next grow to do a comparison.  Soil just seemed like the easiest way to get started, i haven't really had to fuck around with nutrients, and my plants have loved the soil i put them in.  I guess the true test will come about in two months or so when i get to smoke it :smile:

I just got back from a bachelor party, i put my plants on 12/12 last thur.  Im running the lights at night to avoid heat problems that ive been having due to warm weather.  My lights dont go back on until 5 pm so i wont be able to update anything until then.

It really sucks not being able to go look at your plants when you want to :frown:

yah, well, plants = dead. I just checked on them, wilted to fuck, i might be able to save two of them, but the real tall one is most definitely too far gone to have any hope of saving.

ah, they bounced back, the tall one lost a TON of water leaves tho. Poor way to prune her, but, she survived.

Side note- i got my 4x4 room in, lot easier to deal with, plants are on 12/12 right now. Been in flowering for a week. No noticable bud growth yet, they are stretching tho. I have to light proof the tent some more as major light is seeping in through the ventilation slits. I emailed the manufacturer to see what i can do about that.

Hopefully ill have some bud shots in a week or so.

21 days into flowering. Thought it was about time to update with some bud shots.











So there ya go, few bud shots and a look at my plants. The 4x4 room is working great, im going to need to buy and add a carbon filter pretty soon. I started adding nutrients last week on fri, ill be feeding once a week unless my plants tell me otherwise. Been watering about every 3 days. I also moved the HPS up another foot or so. This gives the tall girl a bit more light on her top cola. Bud production on the top of her has been week since she almost grew past the level of the cool tube. By raising the light i significantly increased the amount she receives. Hopefully this will help her produce a better top cola then what i see. Both smaller plants have significantly denser and longer bud growth on their tops then the tall one does.

They've been moving along quite nicely now, each day the buds get fatter and longer and the plants stretch just a bit more. Secondary growth rate has increased as well. All secondary nodes are branching quite well to reach the light. Since i only have three plants canopy density is not a problem, i will be trimming some more lower branches tho as those bud sites look small and are possibly sapping away needed energy. I also confirmed the presence of one male (which is why i have three plants now) and hacked him down about 3 days into flowering. I dried the male and placed it's leaves amongst some other clippings we received to make some hash with.

That's about all i have to update with. I received 3 clones of heavy duty tuti fruity on sat of last week. Clones have been rooted and i will be transplanting them from the small peat pots to the 6 inch pots i used in my previous grow. I wanted to transplant today, but they needed water yesterday. So i will most likely be transplanting them tommorow morning after the soil has dried a little bit more.

I'm too stoned to read the whole thread, but did you say you're using a 460 watt HPS?

Are you using a flower promoting fertilizer? (bloom formula?) If so what kind.

I got two different females that I'm about to flower under a 400w. A skunk #1 and a durban poison. I'll make a thread w/pics.

Demius- Smell is minimal right now, i expect that to change within a week or so tho. I've got some money saved up for a carbon filter.

MadHatter- Im using fox farm original blend soil. It has worm castings, guano, and some other organinc nutes premixed. My partner picked up some bloom nutes, also organic, but i dont know the name offhand. We also got a sample bottle of some stuff which is supposed to increase sugar production and boost the buds. Haven't used it yet because the hydro guys said to wait until about the 4th or 5th week. We're also using a 430 watt HPS.

Depends I cant see if it is wilting up to. If it was just drooping it has to much water.

Yah, ive been having problems with the tall girl's top leaves staying horizontal. I've been splitting about a gallons worth of water between the three plants every 3 days or so. They're not wilted, but they wont stand straight either. Im hoping it was a light issue, i raised the lights so she should be getting a bit more now.
