One of those things with two weighted balls and a string between them. You can take someone down from like thirty feet with one of those  .

An aluminum tire-bat.
I could not figure out what it was for, and why it didn't respond to the question. I would look at it for a few minutes, then throw it on the floor. Then I'd pick it up again later when I noticed it sitting there and start all over again.

I'd have to say crumbled up piece of aluminun foil in the dark. Its not all that weird playing with, but I was fairly confused when I was looking at it from a distance, confused at what I was looking at. The whole time I was looking at it, I was like, "How did that get there?" But once I picked it up, I was like, "OH OKAY"but it definently was like 5 minutes of confusion with a weird object in my room.

on my first trip right after I dosed I walked past a house that was giving away some free shit.
I took plastic showerpole of some sort.
For six hours I kept it with me. It was my spiritual guide and it reassured me throughout the trip. I still have it to this day, its in my backyard.
Also on another trip (that same day, seperate trip (read lvl. 3 trip report "a full day of shrooming")) I found what started out as an 8 or 9 foot stick and by the end of the night it was 2 or 3 twigs that were about a few inches each.
Its weird. During my trips I always seem to keep close "friends" with objects and for hours I won't notice them and then I will all of the sudden realize that I still have the object. Pretty Bitchin.

hm, a seashell I took home from a vacation to Italy...
The white from it was just so bright, and the brown/black dots on top were forming all kinds of patterns.

The wierdest thing I've ever played with during a trip is a neon orange stethoscope. I had it hanging over the corner of my TV rack and the bright color jumped out at me. I ended up listening to different parts of my body, trees, the ground and all sorts of other stuff. I still carry it with me sometimes.

I had this stick once. I was on a canoe trip and i collected these branches for the fire. Anyway, we get into the trippin part at night around the campfire, and i go to throw this stick in for fuel. I happen to look at it and there are all these cool mite trails al over the thing. The best part was they werent random at all, but formed geometric patterns and come crazy formations. Anyway, i ended up keeping the stick after being in awe for a few hours over this thing. Ive still got it too.

a syringe
someone sent me to bring a 14inch sq beveled mirror with lines of trail mix on it to offer to kids in the house, but for the longest time it was attached to my arm id look at it, get stuck in it, snap out of it and walk around more, apparantly i would look in it for a long time for when i snapped out of it, there were different ammounts of lines, like i was a fuckin table and kids walked over while i was oob

I used to live in Birmingham MI, and everything shuts down at about 9 oclock. So I would just walk around my neighborhood in my underwear in the middle of the night.
So my "toy" would be my deserted neighborhood.

the wierdest shit I've ever played with while tripping was this wierd plant/grass. It was on my first trip on mush and I've never found the plant to this very day, yet i could pick it up and play with it...

Maybe not the weirdest, but you know those fiberoptic revolving color changing sculpture things, My friends and I, each took a strand and held it between our teeths and plucked it like a guitar string, varying the pressure to change the pitch. the sound vibrated straight up our jaws into our brains.

Not necessarily wierd, but you all must try
Get a laser pointer & kaleidoscope. Shine the pointer through the scope onto the ceiling. Move the scope around. Now turn the scope around & shine through the other end. Very cool.
Idot note: Do not be a numbnut & look into the scope while shining the pointer into it. You WILL screw up your eye.
(p.s. also not weird but definitely my favorite, I have a 1 pound ball of purple glitter silly putty... have had this same piece for 10 years and is still the best trip toy)

Definatly these glasses I picked up, I was downtown all mushed up when I put these glasses on, the trippyest thing ever! they somehow made everything more
3-D, don't ask me how but colours popped out more. This may sound like I was just on mush and seeing brighter colours but no, there even trippy sober. Putting them on was like putting on drunk goggles while drunk, but mush goggles while on mush. They are great and from any light a big rainbow shoots out on either side!! just trippy, they look like red-blue 3-D movie glasses but with clear lenses. If you want to try and find them they are called ChromaDepth 3-D (www.chromatek.com), I have also been told that there is some sort of 3-D crayola felt set that also comes with those glasses, but just downright trippy!

More impressive still was the fact that there were beautiful stars in this direction
Most amazing fact of all was the prospect of another direction when I was done with up. DOWN! Which, based on the feel through my toes would be a fine sandy beach!
