If you do not own a coffee maker you could try this:

1. Boil 4-8 cups of water in a pot.
2. Have your dry liquid culture ingredients measured and inside of 2 coffee filters. I use 10 grams of light malt extract and 10 grams of dextrose per 4 cups of water using quart jars.
3. Take your coffee filters and slightly push them down into the jar.
4. Using a rubber band, wrap the outside of the jar so the filters do not fall in when you pour your water.
5. Pour your boiling water into the coffee filter as it sits inside the top of the jar by swirling the water around to catch all the ingredients.
6. After you have poured the desired amount into each jar, place the lids back on that you will use and cover with foil.
7. Pressure cook one time at 15 PSI for 20-25 minutes.
8. Allow them to cool, with the foil on, for at least 3-4 hours outside of the pressure cooker.
9. Leave the foil on until you are ready to inoculate.

Using this method ensures that only the diluted ingredients enter the jar.
