Twins

Just a general inquiry for information/opinions

Does anyone here have any experience with twins - whether you HAVE twins, have babysat for twins, etc.  I have an interview on Sunday for a nanny position for 2 three month old twins.  I love kids, I have a ton of experience with infants, but I have never cared for twins, and I'm not sure how different or more challenging it is than dealing with just one baby.  It might sound like a silly question and one might say "It's like taking care of 1 kid, multiplied by 2".  I guess what I'm looking for is situational stuff like, tasks that are made exponentially difficult because there's 2 babies, not one.  If that makes any sense  :crazy:

Any info would be much appreciated.  Thanks!

Yeah, I'm aware that I would have twice the dirty diapers to change :lol:  It's not stuff like that that worries me.  Actually I'm not even necessarily worried.  I'm very level headed and I deal with pressure pretty well.  I'm just picturing 2 shrieking kids, bottles, and not enough hands to deal with all of it I guess  :crazy:

I used to live by a family that had some twins. I was friends with one of the older kids (which was a brother to the twins) and he often had to watch over them while the parents were gone.
They were actually not bad kids at all. They dressed the same though and would always play around and make us confused as to which was which. They were about five or six years old though I think.
Anyways, I've always had good experience with kids, those twins kind of liked having me around.. I'd always goof around and play games with them or whatever. I like having kids around sometimes :smile:.
Since they are only three months old, it should be about the same as looking after a couple babies I guess.. When they're older it can get confusing.

i'm a twin.

i don't really remember much about being one though, except that my sister would beat the crap out of me every day. i don't think it's any different than dealing with two non-twin infants and the same time, prolly takes just as much energy and patience to deal with them. i don't know though. i'm only a twin, i've never had to take care of twins.
