And I'am with Zebes on Aphex, Coldcut, Squarepusher and Vibert, will give a few of the others on your list a listen looks like we have like tastes. Although Aphex and Squarepusher seems to have disappeared up their own arse with the latest stuff :frown:

Hah I think it really depends on what sort of a trip you're looking for. Listening to IDM on a trip is likely to cause much breakage :O To be honest I prefer more chilled out stuff for mushrooms. Still, it'd be interesting :tongue:

I'm not with the band, but if you dig shrooms and good music, they seem to compliment eachother quite nicely.

If you enjoy Lacuna Coil, I think you'd like Arch Enemy and Nightwish (if you don't already listen to them).

For me, Tool is premier, though I also enjoy most melodic metal music such as Soilwork, (the old) In Flames, Avenged Sevenfold, and a bunch of others.

Mudvayne is fun at the start, gets a bit harsh and intense though towards the peak of a trip.

I think it's just me, but Shpongle really doesn't do it for me...  :frown:

i like ambient stuff because it helps put me in a meditative state... so for that, i may listen to some 1 mile north, brian eno, shpongle & long road home.

but usually i speed it up to make it more intense and i'll switch to hallucinogen. gotta love it. :smile:
