Amber_Glow,
I can't believe nobody else has mentioned Shpongle!!!!
Guys, its MADE FOR MUSHROOMS, and its MADE WELL!
If you don't like electronic music, get Shpongle - Tales of the Inexpressible and if you like more electronic stuff, get Shpongle - Are You Shpongled?
-=- Matt/Strumpling -=- Its MADE for the psychedelic experience!

The computer animation on the Planet Caravan video of Pantera's is from a computer ani. video called The MInd's Eye. Back in the day when CGI's weren't on every single commercial, movie, and tv sow that video was made just to show what it could do. It's not really amazing graphics now, but it's still cool to watch - lots of fractals and cool designs, great eye-candy. The part on the video is a thing showing seeds being shot into space by plants and landing on a new barren planet and starting new life there, very cool to watch.

If you really want to trip out hard and are in a quiet environment try absolute silence too. It is some weird shit man. Sensory depravation can be fun.

Yes, Infected Mushroom is definitely good..
Their best-constructed CD would have to be "Classical Mushroom," as they attempted to base the structures from classical music.. Its definitely cool
-=- Matt/Strumpling -=- good call FuRY

Well these are all terrible suggestions for music....I mean COME ON!!! You guys, seriously.....the subtle moods and deep reflections on ANY Brittany Spears album far outweigh all this bullshit obscure stuff you guys have suggested. Also, try N'Sync and even some Christina for the heavier trips. Backstreet is good too (they're such hotties!!) Oh my God, like totally.

NOFX they're punk, not too mellow as you want, but trust me on this one these guys can give you the trip of your life. Its always good to bring somethin new to your trip. Even if you don't like much punk, this shit is different and betta'. well, if any song to suggest from NOFX i would personally say "my heart is yearning" its a chill out song for good man, have fun!

if you want a 'different' trip, listening to 'see this through and leave' by cooper temple clause on headphones is quite trippy...they use alot of stereo effects and shit

Infected Furry
Sorry to have to break this to you but it's a joke.....obviously I don't listen to that music. It's ok, we've all been there before....must be quite embarassing to be the only one who doesn't get sarcasm. I do admire your determination to ridicule me though....too bad it's just not working out for you. Try not to be so hostile though, it's not well received.

Exactly. One more flame in this thread, it gets locked and the flamer gets a warning. We are nice people here, we don't like issuing warnings, but we don't put up with flames either. Be nice
Good luck

I think the best Shpongle album is the first one, 'Are You Shpongled?".
The second one, "Tales of the Inexpressable" is also good, but its less earthy/mystical.
Don't expect to find them in the record store, I'd say bust out the amazon.com.

Well the trip was taken Sunday, but Im glad to ee the suggestions still pouring in. I like some of them... always trying to find new bands. Shpongle was good I liked it on the come up. I listened to the new Foofighters, new Pearl Jam, and Les Claypools and his Frog Brigade (love Primus and Claypool). Also pulled out one of my old favs from the early 90's Soul Coughing's Ruby Vroom. I definetly recommend them ( the incumbant, idiot king, mr bitterness are all great tunes...) listen to some of the album and then my downloads.... A Murder Of Lawers In Overcoats.... Also, no flames or what have yous on my thread (I hope what I typed made sense) I want OPINIONS, not ASSHOLES!
