We watched that once while tripping.It was the stupidest thing I've ever done.I was on 7 hits of Red Ant Blotter.There is a part where a guy is at a news conference and blows his head off with a revolver.Well i saw it in slow motion and it kept playing over and over again in slow motion in my head,even down to tiny little details,it was horrible!It took my girlfriend,a bowl of weed and 15 minutes in another room before i could forget about it.

To be fair...

I LOVE watching children's movies on a trip... But I don't do it during the peak.

It would be a complete waste to watch it during the bulk part of the experience. I always watch them on the comedown. In the afterglow... as I like to call it.

Finding Nemo was the best so far... followed by Ice Age and Monsters, Inc. Visually, they're all fantastic... they've gotten so advanced with texture and lighting, it's fucking amazing.

I tend to analyze the films and read deeply into the hidden metaphorical meanings that they embed in the films to teach kids good morals and such... it's really quite interesting.

I think "Walking Life" would win. way way way to much motion. i think i would get to nauseous. the monologues are already hard to follow as it is.

who was on shrooms? the writer? it would take alot of shrooms and alot of time for somebody to write a script while high on shrooms.

I have read that The Holy Mountain was made while everyone in it was on magic mushrooms in Mexico. Have also heard that Natural Born Killers had a heavy influence of mushrooms, not to mention the great trip they take in the movie!

That movie was so horrible.
Just an excuse to kill animals on screen.
Not to mention cannibals only killed like one person.

i agree completely. a friend of mine who really is a fan of "extreme" violent films (mostly japanese ones) told me it was very great and political and what not. and ok, there is the philosophical question raised "who are the savages" or whatever. but certainly not meriting that amount of what, in my opinion, is pornography.

That faces of death reality gore stuff is way too much for me to handle sober. I like watching freak out movies like jacobs ladder and natural born killers and whatnot at any time but especially while tripping.

i saw donnie darko on mescaline and it was awesome, it didn't ruin the trip one bit. good music, cool camera effects and angels. girls that i'm allowed to consider attractive at my age. the kind i'd keep around as a gf.

I don't know if this has been said before; The Shining was the worst movie for me to watch on 3 hits of acid.


I was alone at my dad's cabin in the white shell (Manitoba) during a nice snowfall. I was checking the windows and the car every 15 minutes looking for footsteps...
