where are there mushrooms in natural born killers? the only tripped out stuff is his own delusions and the snake venom, but mushrooms? i dont remember any mushrooms...

The only film I can think of with shroom use is 'Altered States'.

There is this old (80's) horror flick, I think it was called "The Hills Have Eyes" it was about crazy hillbillies, and a group of Teens who are backpacking through Deliverance Country stumble upon thier lair.
Before they meet the Hillbillies, one of the Teens, finds a huge jar of pickled mushrooms (pickled?)in the deserted kitchen, and he eats a few. One of the other teens calls them magic mushrooms, & eat them too. Then they feel all 'funny'...

Imagine shroomin' then being chased by crazed hillbillies!? WTF- That concept scares me now.

I was 10 or so when I saw this flick the first time.
I think it was made me interested in mushrooms& afeared of hill folk.

While driving down the road, the guy sais to that girl "Gimme some more shrooms, mine havnt kicked in yet."

Next scene - him throwing up - turns toward camera and his face gets all distorted for a second.

Saw that movie drunk and it confused me - I'd maybe give it a whirl on a lowdose of mushrooms.

theres this anmie on cartoon network late night called cowboy bebop... one episode has them all finding "shrooms" thinking they were food and started tripping out hardcore, doing weird shit... its a defiantly must see.. you could probably find it online in any download softwear "i.e limewire" look for cowboy bebop and look for the mushroom episode.. its hilarious

damn.. what about YellowSubmarine??? There are so many references... the beginning shows a pic of shrooms, blue meanies, "how do you start this thing ( talking about their trip on the sub), it usually starts with a blue meany attack, what if there are no blue meanies around? well then you look for a switch...( then the music starts) ....sgt. peppers lonely hearts club band song ( we love to take you home)...too many.
