It's not Amsterdam dude, they don't sell it right in shops...

In Vancouver, you can find pot.  How?  Just like you would in any other city...then, you can go and smoke it in certain shops.  There used to be an awesome one called Blunt Bros., but it burnt down (not out, ha).  There's another one nextdoor called New Amsterdam Cafe I think.

Not in practice. No way.

Vancouver's legality of pot is way different than Alabama's, even if technically they're both illegal. In reality, you'll get a felony in the US for what the Canadians cops would confiscate and let you go.

Though maybe it depends on the area, as I don't know how the enforcement in Ontari-ari-ario compares to BC.

sometimes youll see people walk down the street smoking a joint, or smoking a bong, but not right in plain view. under a tree or something. you can smoke just about anywhere, as long as you dont cause any trouble.

the funny thing is, the only city weed life i know about is amsterdam, and vancouver. amsterdam is quite the experience, im going there for the 3rd time this summer.

Finding weed in Vancouver is simple if you look for it.
The head shops in Van are all on the same block. It's a great place to to wander through when stoned, but it's still not legal.
Enough Canadians (especially in B.C.) believe in de-criminalization that it's a minor offence, until the conservative public complain and the cops raid a shop.
