I ate a few to many pot brownies once, opened some doors I had no idea where there (and really didn't want opened ) I was most definitly tripping so hard off of those, it was compareable (maybe stronger) than some expiriances with more powerful psycadelic drugs man woahhhhh that is a definitly a way to learn what power that plant has REAL QUICK. word of warning, I wasn't quite right for a good week or two after.

yep, I recently graduated one of the most intense computer based colleges while smoking daily (13 hour days working on campus, 6 days a week). Not only that, but I was in the top of my class. Seems to me this guy is using free-vibe "facts" combined with aggressive statements, trying to stir up some angry "common pothead" responses. I've said it a million times, and I'll say it again: \/ \/ \/ \/ \/ \/ \/ \/ \/ \/ \/ Pot doesn't make someone a loser. If you know someone who smokes pot and is a stupid piece of lazy crap, then the odds are that person would find other ways to be a stupid lazy piece of crap even if they didn't have pot. You can't look at someone and blame their negative traits on weed, because those traits are part of the person, not part of the drug. For every burned out, dead-end stoner you show me, I can show you a motivated, successful, active one. Pot is such an easy scapegoat to pick on, and one the ignorant seem to love to use. /\ /\ /\ /\ /\ /\ /\ /\ /\ /\ /\

Fuck that! Weed made me insane and hear voices. That's right, WEED and BOOZE, the two "harmless?" drugs made me completely psychotic.
Bullshit that it's great and can't be abused. I am sick of being a slave to it, but that wasn't enough to make me boot it. You know why? Because it IS FUCKING ADDICTIVE!
Now I am a mental fucking patient because of it. Fuck weed. No wait, Butt fuck weed in the ass and make it clean to stick off with it's tounge.

" The truth about THC as with anything else is when you introduce a substance into your body that effects the operation and reactions of the chemicals in our brain used to mediate our moods and mentality, your body causes a sort of negative feedback system to occur."
WRONG.
Cannabis is one of the few drugs that DOESNT cause brain cell mutation(which is the "halmark" of addiction)
Even Coffee will casuse mutations , but the Cannaboids do not.
"Also remember, for any foreign substance to effect the body in any way it must bind to receptors meant for natural chemicals in the body."
Yes, but Cannabis doesnt FUCK with the your levels of neroutrasnmittors in the brain, messing with these levels, and brain cell mutation is the road to addiction.
Cannabis doesnt do either.
Read Marijuana MYTHS, Marijuana FACTS, its a great UP TO DATE , scientific look at Cannabis
The canadian senate came out with a report recently about cannabis......whats the biggest danger from smoking cannabis (Cronic use =??)
Bronchitis, and this can be risk can be avoided with a vaporisor or lessened by smoking STRONG , QUALITY Cannabis.
Whats the most dangerous thing about Cannabis????
The way it can impact your freedom.

I am not sorry if I sound bitter toward this drug because I am addicted to it and it is destroying my mind. It will eventually destroy or distort yours slowly over time till you get either a stupor or "reefer madness." If you don't believe that it causes madness, you cannot deny the stupor it causes over a lengthy (multiple times, daily in my case) use.

I don't mean to cut you down, but if a user cannot be disciplined enough to put a drug down, then they shoudln't be using it in the first place.

Drugs can exacerbate mental problems, it sounds like Schizophrenia not cannabis, is your problem.
If Cannabis caused all the horrible(overblown) problems of which SOME speak, then all the suffering , and sick, medical patients would be saying , shit I hear voices , this cannabis is not the right medicine etec etc.
They dont, because Cannabis has always BEEN and will always BE, good medicine.
And if you want to tell me different , you can contact my doctor, or one of the medical cannabis clubs I am a part of

Just because it fucked up your life doesn't make it wrong for all. Hell my nephew OD'd on coke.. do i think coke is not for everyone? NO..he is the one that didn't know his limit, he is the one that made the wrong choice. I would never condem everyone else for the mistakes of one person, whether i think it's right or wrong, good or bad.

silversoul7 said: What's great about weed is precisely the fact that it's not as intense as the other drugs you mentioned(though I've had a few experiences on really strong weed that bordered on tripping). You can do it frequently without major consequences(assuming you don't get busted
A softer effect and a softer consequence. Over time, the ends are the same. of course if you abuse coke, it will burn you faster than weed will, but the weed can still burn you if abused. As for being busted, it is the same, one coke bust will put you away for a while, while a bunch of weed busts will be needed to match that of a coke bust (possession busts in both cases).
It just takes more weed and time because the weed effects less.
Your points seem to always be well laid out.

What do you think a mental addiction is? It is a ritual of life. Weed has addicted me and that's why I am so angry right now.

I've smoked since I was 16, but i have no problems with it. I can buy an eighth and it will last me a month. It all boils down to being able to control yourself enough not to do it all the time.
If you have an addictive personality, then you will have trouble.

What about self-responsibility, Magnum?
I am in no way belittling your condition right now, but the weed could've cared less if you smoked it. Are you angry because weed is painted as a "harmless" drug?
If that is the case, then I sympathize with you. No drug should be given the label of "harmless."
On the same page though, I think it is important to note that you were the one who smoked it. Nobody takes responsibility for their own actions anymore these days.

I don't know but when I smoke I feel perfectly fine and I'll say anything I want without worrying about what other people think. so I suppose it makes me more social...oh yeah and I like to gain lbs. because I'm a skinny dude haha.

You need to chill out and stop blaming your issues on cannabis. Im tired of running into people who cant accept their actions and the consequences of their actions and instead have to find a scapegoat for their problems.
Weed will not put you on Depakote. Ive been on depakote for 3 years. Cannabis is the only drug ive ever had that literaly melted the stress off and made me friendly.
Dont be like those people in Columbine who after the shooting had to quickly find a new scapegoat like violent computer games or music.
