When you dream of spreading 16 yard dump/truck of pasturized compost across back yard, dump it, then head out for a smaller truck load of colonized spawn, dump it, spread it over compost, rake it in - by hand. Set up a weird looking scare/crow to watch over "the new garden". Then begin preparing 2 tons of peat/coir/verm casing mixture in a portable concrete mixer, for when it is needed.

When you wake up & find verm sparkles on your pillow case.

3.
When you have small table & chair that, will fit in large Master Bedroom shower stall - that has glass sliding door & tell wife, shower now - I have to do some clean room work, tonight honey.

4.
When you buy wife a AA 941 PC for Christmass.

5.
When your cable connection goes down - you PANIC - as you need to post new pics in your grow log - right now.

6.
When you have stock answers to 21,137 Newbie questions saved in you doc file, so you can cut/paste answer in, rather than type another.

When you ponder who to leave your AA 941 Sterilizer & Flow/Hood to - in your will.

8.
When you have replaced garbage disposal, 3 times in last 6 months - because dumping funky grain spawn jars into it - wrecked them.

When you can judge the exact temp & rh level of anywhere - you go.

10.
When you have 9 "extra" spare ultrasonic humidifiers stacked in a closet.

11.
When your wife asks -what do you want for your birthday. You tell her a $1,400 digital humidistat mutli/function control unit from GreenAire Co.

When you cannot stop thinking about those air tight ocean going 8X8X24 foot steel cargo containers - you saw for sale - for $1,998 delivered.

when you save money by buying hamburger instead of steaks, so you can get the 40 pound bag of bird seed instead of just the 10..or worse, you go without eating to buy substrate of some sort for your mushies.

when you see mold, anywhere, and cry..litterally..followed by a period of anger.

when you can shake 2 quart jars at a time, good enough to break up myc.

when you can simmer and load grains into jars (30 of them), pressure cook those jars, mix up 2 bags of shit, pasteurize them, harvest 20 wet ounces and clean and spread them out to dry all at the same time (total work time about 6 hours).....on 2.5 grams of mushrooms
