IS this hobby addictive?????

Im just started growing some lil shroomies and was wondering how it has affected other growers lives, I mean it is pretty fantastic being able to grow beutiful psychedelics withina very small space and within a very short period of time, Will I never be able to stop, constantly out to tweak my set-ups and growing methods that ONE step further....?

Lets put it this way,I've tripped maybe seven or eight times in my life!.This is my first try growing.When I seen my first few cakes growing itty bitty peckers out of them I knew I was hooked.I ain't had such a swelled up chest since my kid was born.I just birthed my jars a couple days ago and I'm in there looking every other hour,but every time I look I swear they get bigger.I know for a fact I'm hooked!
I'm gonna grow some morel mushrooms too {They are just awesome eating they don't fuck you up!}cause I figure if I can do this then I'll try that..............I LOVE IT!!!!!!!..........Like having kids grow without the hassles

You're right, really. Once they pin and start forming fruitbodies, they grow at an astronomical rate. You can just go to work for a day, come home, and they'll have doubled in size.
The first time my friend's casings started pinning, he says he wept for the beauty of it.

Yes!! Very addictive almost everything i see i ask myself how i could use this to grow mushrooms and almost everytime i can find a way to incorperate it into my setup or use it in some way. Always on my mind!! ( i worry about my babies when i'm at work) hooked for life

my house is getting pretty messy......time for a cleaning.....maybe I need a maid.
the lawn is in need of mowing......nope I'll call a lawn service.
and my family probably wonders where I am.....oh well.

I even have a shroom babysitter!

man, oh man...lol addictive is putting it mildly.. when your not cooking jars, or misting, or playing with your agar, your thinking of a better incubator design, or planning the next bit of research, even tho you have 2 pages of research lined up to do....everytime you pass a pile of shit someone has thrown out, you examin it with an eagles eye, just in case there is something in there that you may use, ONE OF THESE DAYS ( least i do, im a cheap ass, if i can make something work thats free, im a happy camper) hmmmmmmmmm neighbor cut down his tree.......might need to pick up a few of them wood chips, or i wonder if that farmer would like his stalls cleaned out, for the poo and straw.

Where'd you have a hobby that produces fruit every 3 weeks or so.
Deffinately the most satisfying and rewarding.

And if you kick the addiction don't be surprised if relapses occur. Even after several years have past. These relapses are often more intense than the original addiction was in the first place.
