this site means a lot to me even tho i dont post much at all. it's the only site i visit daily, and not only do i visit it daily but i visit it a couple times a day. unfortunately i have no $$$ (thats what happens when your a 16 yr old bum), so i cant make any contributions but i was thinking...cant ya free up some space by deleting old posts in bulletin boards and deletin some of the trip reports thats are too short, or ones where ppl just wrote a bunch of garbage to take up space??? i was just wonderin cuz i'd hate to see this place shut down.

I can't do business with paypal either, so tell me where to send a money order.....and it WILL be their! I just can't imagine not having the SHROOMERY. I hate to say it, but i'll be honest....at the present time i'm hurt for cash, or any other kind of money. Some of you people know that i'm on unemployment, and trying to feed 3 peolpe. So I can only send $20.00 at the present time. The way I see it(and hope others do too), is that...if I can spend money on a print, or syringe, then this is just a part of money that i'm putting towards my hobby. Which has given so much to me on the accont of this place.

What a way to wake up, last night I was feeling a little blue, and today you all have showed me just how strong this community really is!

I can't put to words how much I'm touched by all your support, the future of the shroomery is looking pretty damn good today let me tell you!

The push for the $1000 is because our move had a lot of charges like set up fees, domain registrations, etc..... A whole wack of money I had to spend, and with the ADs not covering all of our monthly fees, I was running further and further into debt.... I tried some resourcefull ways of dealing with this, but thanks to the above and some funds not coming that were promised, I just got into a hole that looked bleak.

But the great news is that after this push, the Shroomery will be stronger than ever and we will never have to worry about this happening again, I will make it my mission to make this place viable for life.

My thanks to you all, truly there is so much love here for this place that it just shows how important this place is to us all.

so what's the grand total of donations at the moment? i'll try and chuck over $10-20 in about a week when i get some reddies.

one thing that i would definitely advise against though (that someone suggested) is charging a membership fee for the site. this site will probably lose 95% of it's visitors immediately, and will no longer be a place for newbies to come for help, but will just be a small members club of serious growers. this, in my view, would make this site lose a massive chunk of its appeal.

Overwhelming the support, I'm truly in awe of this community today! Well we've already reached our goal, can you believe in less than a day this communit rallied together to keep this place alive :smile:
