what the hell is wrong with my elbows?

when i straighten my arm and tense my arm muscles up then bend my arm like I'm doing a bicep curl ,inside my elbow sometimes makes this kinda "crack" noise , its a weird noise and it doesn't sound too good.

My right arm does it more than my left.

Sometimes i lift weights but not very often and i don't lift anything thats really heavy either.

Any idea what it could be? does anyone else's elbows do this?

i don't have that exact problem.  but one time, i was watching a show about midgets and i straightened my arms out to see how long they were compared to a midgets.  i realized that my right arm doesn't extend all the way.  it's at probably a 7 degree angle or something.
enough that you can tell.

i don't think it's anything to worry about unless it hurts.  :thumbup:

My arms used to crack all the time when I would do pushups.

They've stopped doing it though... maybe because I've done it so much.

Maybe in our modern sedentary lifestyles we never properly break our
joints in? Put some wear on those things, they'll smooth out.

my knees crack each and every time i bend them enough...we need to workout more i guess...

My elbows do that, though ive only just started wondering why.How old are u. Mine started about 2 years ago and im 23 now. I think we must be getting old. Sounds/feels awful, its like a grinding sensation with the noise to match.

ill have it checked if anybody thinks it could be something bad, But i bet its quite normal.

Maybe taking cod liver oil or some other suppliment might help.

my left arm, when stretched, comes to a pint, where I have to make it crack to fully "extend" it..

it is something with gas, building up in the joint..

I wonder why this to...
