Hey someone should try this. Not me however, a lil to whacky.
Eat nothing but vegetables, rice, water, (maybe hard-boiled eggs for a lil protein in ya diet, to keep ya healthy at least) for a week or two. Then take one of ya shits and pastuerize it, mix it with a colonized cake with a 3:1 ratio and see how it goes.
Yes, this is disgusting and odd, but figured someone might wanna try it. LOL

In the orient, they have composted human shit for thousands of years. The human diet can get plenty of protien from beans, spinach, lettuce,asparagus, etc. Vegans live very healthy lives without eggs or dairy. Ask Captain Jack.

I think one of the reason someone shouldnt try it is because of what we harbor in our intestins. I think it is E-Coli or something like that. I read a post in the gormet a while back that was talking about some gormet mushrooms that were shipped from an oriental place, they grow them out on human feces and people were getting the bacteria from the mushroms and getting really sick. If this is a joke which I think it is, then forget this post. If not and someone was thinking about it dont try it, you will probably DIE. Have a nice day ;)

I'm not condoning this tek either, but just a correction to the above post--(and I ain't lookin' it up, either) but if I'm not mistaken EColi is killed at about 165F.
I would think that if properly pasteurized, there's no more danger in human shit than in any other animals'. There's plenty of EColi in the intestines of cows too.
But for Christ Sakes, why would you have the need to. . . .oh. . nevermind.

Ok well mark this on your calendars boys and girls, I just did the most disgusting thing ever in my life.
Yes thats right, I just used some human shit (mine of course) to see how mycelium like it.
Basically I'll save ya the details but there was no sterility involved in this process.
I took a nice rectangular chunk of mycelium from a doomed B+ cake that I had going, and mix it in some shit. Its probably at about a 4:1 ratio. Its set up so i can easily observe its growth in its new medium.
Told you i'd do it. If it works I'll do it again and provide pictures. Otherwise stay tuned for updates.

Actuslly yeah i could have just gone over and used horse dung, mainly since there is a farm about 1/2 mile from where I am. But come on, that wouldn't be nearly as disgusting or interesting, everybody does that.

I must say this stuff is really stinking up the room.
I've had to open my window and door to get ventilation going through here otherwise i'd die.
Smells like someone shit on my face, smeared it around, and told me to keep sniffing.
