The local municipality offers compost rendered from the local sewage treatment facility. It is intended to be used as fertilizer for our yards. Can it be used to spawn or is real hay-eating grazing beast manure better / required?

Roadkill and the other skeptics,

human poo from the wastewater treatment facility isn't quite the same as laying a turd and spawning mycellium in it.

Here's an example of some you can order online from what looks like the city of Austin (TX?)...
It says the EPA has approved it for crops such as vegetables, but Austin doesn't recommend it.
