Mystery solved! This customer has already recieved his replacement spores but it's nice to know what happened to the first ones.

He originally gave me the wrong address, it went to a neighbor down the hall who didn't recognize the name because he used a phoney one.

It is interesting to note that this is yet another case of a package crossing the border both ways without being opened by customs. I don't think they every open them!

On Customs opening packages:

A friend once purchased NL#5 seeds from Amsterdam Aloha and had it sent to a friends. He also got the letter saying it was opened, but they didn't confiscate anything. I guess the dummys weren't expecting "contraband" to be sent in a cassette case... The friend sure was happy to get his stuff, albeit a little paraniod that they purposely let the seeds through just to bust him at a later time.

Obviously...

With the current status of Amsterdam's drug laws, and the huge amount of Ecstacy manufactured over there, I'm sure mail coming from Amsterdam is scrutinized much more. That was not the point of the post though.

It is true that mail from the Scandanavia is scrutinized closer because of the many legal (over there) companies sending drugs through the mail.
