You'll probably be safer if you scoop out the infected section with a sterile spoon or knife, then apply some h2o2 solution. But if you managed to kill the infection on a early stage, you should be ok.
Anyway, it depends on the size of the contamination, but i won't advice consuming mushrooms from heavily trich infected cakes.
Btw, you should also isolate contaminated cakes. Trich spores are airborne and can easily contaminate any nearby cake.
