it depends one what you mean by energy.  In the physics definition, energy is just a concept to describe motion..or as diploid pointed out, to do work.  in this case, Energy in=Energy out.  its a concept created by humans.

light is an electromagnetic wave, so it must have a source.  can the brain be a power house of this source then?  or could the brain be the ultimate manipulater of energy that we don't know of yet? 

you know when you're tripping i nthe dark, and you see colors that aren't there, what does this mean then?  Is the light actually there?  is there a wave going through your brain to make you see the colors?

very interesting.  good post...I'm going to think about this more :wink:

Annnnnnd I had a light saber and my friend was there and I said "you look like an indian" and he said "you look like satan" and he found a stick and a rock and he named the rock ooga booga and he named the stick Stick and we both thought that was pretty funny. We got eaten alive by mosquitos but didn't notice til the next day. I stepped on some glass while wading in the swamp and cut my foot open, didn't bother me til the next day either....yeah it was a good time, ended the night by buying some liquor for minors and drinking nips and going to he diner and eating chicken fingers, and then I went home and went to bed.

Oh wow, this was an interesting read indeed...!

(If) We are made out of magnetic light/energy frequency vibrationional forces - that is what I lead myself to believe....    (Then) And our mind bodies hold the means at which to transfer, direct, and manifest our own energy outside or inside of our physical beings....  These energy/forces are all around us and within us constantly singing to a frequency that we have to learn how to tune into and understand to use....  Once we (re-)learn how to create and tap into our own natural frequency resonations (from within every one of our DNA's structure), that energy can be used for projection and manifestation....(?) 

My avatar is an original creation that was made years ago - before I got into all of this metaphysical stuff....  Ironically, it is called "Power Station"....  Did I make myself a clue back then as to what I would be doing in my future(now)....?    :grin:    I guess I will find out and discover such things on my own - as I don't think such things can be "taught"....

Okay, found what I said a year ago. Not much either. Can't figure out why you replied to me based on what little I wrote. Based on what little I wrote, sounds like back then, I was close to agreeing with you when I said something about imagination being memory pulled out of the thought form fields of simultaneous time.

Of course, you have a completely different explanation for it. All are valid at this point to me.

So yes, now I would say that I think nothing is new that is created from imagination. It's all borrowed from what was realized up ahead in linear time IMO.

Hows that for a reply? :crazy2:

Looks like I kept thinking on it back then and inspired by a free will is bull post,  worked it out for myself later in a Unified 3 Fields of Consciousness Theory post I did shortly after. Want the link?

Just to be clear, the first law of thermodynamics is that energy cannot be created or destroyed. E = MC2. If a system gains energy it has to come from another system.

I think of imagination and memory as processors of a system, like a cpu or hard drive. If they are stored as energy, it still isnt created.

sure the energy of the reccollection the previous Apple comes from respiration (chemistry), but the particular memory event takes place in the visual cortex and in the frontal cortex as localized waves of energy, and it involves the same cluster or pattern of cells that were intitally excited by the light bounced from the apple to the retina - chaining into signals (conveyed by respiration...ATP...metabolism - and neuro transmitters) to the visual processing cortex etc.

memory is the waves of energy hosted in our chemical brains that substantially match the original event. As if stimulated out of a hologram, this memory emerges.

if the apple memory emerges slightly differently it is due to other mental contents and sequences and "playfulness" of life, and then you might call it imagination, or maybe creativity, creation... well it is just normal memory with other layers happenning.

now the issue about acupuncture is simpler and more complex.
simpler because it involves not many points as with images from light or complicated scenery:
usually just 2 or a few more more needles at the skin feeding signals to the brain produce a strong physiological result.

the magic of acupucture happens in the brain where interference of the two incoming points occurs, and it depends on the kinds of built in switches that are there at those interferernce points.

the charts and lore of acupuncture have been developed for the purpose of memonics and teaching acupuncturists the location of the points, and they do describe "meridians" (you can imagine flowing energy because of your knowledge-expectation of rivers and maps - indeed these are meridians like on a map - invisible measurable computable, but not physical) -

the flows and blockages are not in the maps or on the lines of maps they are elsewhere inside the body, and the magic of these points is that used together properly in different ways they do flip switches in the brain that cause known physiologic effects.

the brain switches are in the grey matter that is exactly between the grey matter that corresponds to pierced acupuncture points. it is due to waveform interference that anything like this happens. That is part of the same basic system that enables sensations to be recorded and recalled from memory.

but you still get something from something, the energy it takes to imagine and create the chemical interactions is still energy changing states

Time is of no concern to me..
