Actually, you're wrong. Objects with mass can indeed be represented as a particle or as a wave, as energy; their wavelength is just extremely long. (Or was that extremely short? Shit, I can't remember.)

This was actually proven within the last few years in a spin-off of the classic diffraction-slit experiment. Instead of photons or electrons, they used whole sodium atoms -- and the slit diffraction still occurred.

It really would be more proper to say that everything is energy, that there is no mass, that kinetic and other interreactions between masses are actually wave effects. It works if you think of it multidimensionally.

You're thinking about "blackbody radiation", which is not the same as representing an object as a wave...

All objects contain a certain ammount of thermal energy unless they are at a temp of 0K (absolute zero). This thermal energy is visible as "blackbody radiation" which the object emits and whose wavelength depends on the exact temperature.

For instance: your body emits blackbody radiation mostly in the infra-red range of the EM spectrum.
