So Lucifer means "Light Bringer" right? Maybe some are familiar with various occult groups that have names like "Morning Star" and so on....

So I was a TMer for a long time. I went to Maharishi International University.

I remember that Maharishi always was saying, "The dawn of the age of enlightenment" and stuff like that.

He also has been trying to get people to meditate, especially in countries under tyrannies as if meditation would solve all problems of the world.

Now I really like TM but I find the notion of it being forced on people ghastly, and so I am at odds. I am finding myself believing that Maharishi is lucifer.

There's more reasons. First, Maharishi was born one Mahesh Kumar Shrivistava of Shudra caste.

In his TM Organization everyone thinks he's a kshatriya or warrior caste not realizing that he was servant caste. Why should that matter? Well, if he wasn't acting like God then it wouldn't but since he started crowning kings and printing his own currency and proclaiming to be the source of the world government of peace and so on, since then, it started to matter since he is trying to recreate the caste system but for the whole wide world. It only mattered since he said, "Damn democracy."

So I am saying I think he is lucifer. What do you all think?




Big believer in vedic flying, which is a total fraud. Briefly a mentor to The Beatles and to a lesser extent the Rolling Stones. Wants to change the world by having governments pay him to practice large scale transcendental meditation (TM), to the point of taking out full page advertisements in news magazines during the 1980's.

TM was and is a big fraud...a ploy for money based on ripping off ideas from decent religions...and charging big bucks for what should be free. The Buddhist equivalent of Scientology.

If that Maharishi dude was Lucifer then evil is pretty poorly represented in the world.

Yeah, but he's not dead, and his future legacy is only really now beginning. Chances are you'll read something about him tomorrow somewhere. Literally.

As for poorly represented, what do you guys think Lucifer should look and act like?

I've seen a video of lucifer. He is an english guy. His birthname IS lucifer. He's pretty cool and very out there. I think he makes music now. My mate bought him a Powerbook the day he met him when he landed in the UK. In the video he said he invented hemp. Of course I was in stitches watching this video that my mate shot, but I'm all for believing :smile:

If Lucifer were real, he would not be what we have come to believe through religion. Religion would obviously give Lucifer all of the attributes of what would be the prophecised chosen one. He is evil because he threatens their ways therefor he is bad and we are taught to fear him. He could be a decent chap.
