Lucifer is god's greatest angel. the bright and shining one. his only sin was to try and outshine is master
Satan is a tempter. He tests souls with temptaion.
The Devil, is a punisher. He punishes failed souls with pain.
These are all aspects of the same being. But personally, I like the Devil the least. Then Satan. Then Lucifer. Lucifer really ain't that bad a guy. You could call him Satan's Higher Self.

But the different names have to imply different entities based on the powers/moods that the different names give to us.

I never understood where people get this idea.
Never in the bible does it say anything about satan ruling hell.
Infact in revalation god casts satan bound in chains into the lake of fire.
He is in the end a victim not in charge.
I know this is an old thread but it is interesting so whatever.

Fuck that man! The baddest dude of them all is Yahweh himself.
Satans got nothing on Yahweh - Master of the Universe.
YHWH is a sick dude, with an agenda to kill..... He worked through us to get his evil deeds done....
• Slaughter Non-believers (2 Chronicles 15:12-13) (Exodus 22:19 ) (Deuteronomy 13:7-12) • Kill the Entire Town if One Person Worships Another God (Deuteronomy 13:13-19) • Death for Fornication (Leviticus 21:9) • Death for Cursing Parents / Being disobendient (Proverbs 20:20) (Deuteronomy 21:18) • Death for Hitting Dad (Exodus 21:15) • Kill Women Who Are Not Virgins On Their Wedding Night (Deuteronomy 22:20-21) • Mass Murder of children, women, babies and animals (Samuel 15:2-3) • Kill People for Working on the Sabbath (Exodus 31:12-15) • Kill Witches (Exodus 22:17) • Kill Homosexuals (Leviticus 20:13) • Kill Fortunetellers (Leviticus 20:27) • Kill People Who Don't Listen to Priests (Deuteronomy 17:12)
Spanish inquisition, burning withces, crusades etc etc
What did Satan ever get us to do. Have premarital sex? Eat a forbidden apple? Create music?? (as christians say, all music is from the devil)
Satan doesn't seem so bad at all really. In fact, Id rather be friends with him, since he brings light, gets us to see truth, makes beautiful music, lets us have sex freely...etc etc etc..
The original gnostic christians, believe Yahweh, God of the Bible, is actually an evil Archon in disguise, and Lucifer is the true light if this world.
That of course is if you believe in this sort of stuff.

Maybe institutionalized religion and blind faith are the real "evil", and in accepting and not questioning, we fall into ignorance. Maybe there is no good or evil as a manifestation of a dualistic creator/corrupter symbiosis. This is not the same thing as feminine/masculine influences, but probably is a corrupted version of the same thing.

Yahweh = YHWH in Hebrew Jehovah = YHWH in Hebrew
Y and J can be considered the same. As are V and W. So in that sense. Yahweh and Jehovah are the same entity.
God is often referred to as Elohim in the Old Testament. Elohim = ALHM in Hebrew (M must be plural) Allah = ALH (no M must be singular)
Therefore by semantics, these 3 entities are all the same.

most people would consider the other three the same entity, despite there separate origins.
But yes, I thought YHVH & YHVH might be identical, and know of the joint lineage of Islam, Christianity and Judaism (children of Abraham). Maybe what I should have wrote was Zeus, Odin and Yahweh, and then their spawn Heracles, Thor and Jesus.
