I harvested some cyanescens last year and kept quite a few spore prints hoping to inoculate and start a bed for this fall... is it too late now to try? by the way I live in Washington state, Seattle area.

It is never too late. But it most likely won't fruit this autumn.

What technique did you use to take the prints from outdoors?
Did you do it planning to make syringes? Or grow it out on agar?
Anno how hard is it to take a clean print outside, for use of making syringes and inoculating grain. Ive got some f+ fruiting in my bed id like to print.

Not hard, just use the common clean procdures, since the gills of the mushroom ar pointing down, they stay very clean in most cases. I have repeatedly made spores syringes with outdoor prints I took myself in the past.

Yeah man start your bed. It may not fruit this fall, but it will have all summer long to get well established for next spring.
Thanks for the advice Anno.

this thread needs outdoor bed pics, ima go take some.
This is the start of the second flush.
Pins
I had a really thick first flush, but 2 squirrels dug up most of my pins and destroyed allot of mycelium, so i set a live trap.
