Glad you like it. I'm going to be adding more pics and I'm trying to track down an old hippie in this area who apparently grows cyans using his own tek.
He's never heard of brown rice flour or the MMGG or PF tek and there are probably others out there as well who have there own 'ways'.
His tek has something to do with soaking alder in water and then innoculating in a way similiar to Shiitake growing.

Damn it, I knew that name sounded familiar! So how's the educational programs going? Took me a couple days, then it hit me. I remember hitting Mt. Elphie site inquiring as to alder sources a couple of months ago. Could you guess as to why? Anyway, got a big kick out of it after realization hit me. Good to see you here. I am sure you will make a very valuable addition here. Also, if I ever get ahold of my old 'hippie friends' back in Oklahoma, will forward any info I procure. Sound just like your 'friend'. Was quite some time ago, and I wish I would have had had more interest in this field at the time. Lost out on some major knowledge! They taught me a lot, just the same. Sometimes I suprise myself with what I sometimes can remember. They primarily worked with Cyans, and sometimes with Cubies. Medium worked with concentrated on wood composts/additives and dung mixtures. Also remember straw used at times. May take some doing to find one or two of them, but will let you know if that happens. Keep in mind this was 15+ yrs ago.
Thanks again for starting info site. Hope additions will be forthcoming. Got to be at least a few out here that will appreciate having this info collected in one place.
