Psilocybe cyanescens

I am about to try my hand at producing some cyan. I am good with cubs. but I have a huge collection of almost every strain on the web (EXCEPT THOSE FROM THE REASONABLY PRICED GUY) I forget his name S.T.P. and I now want to expand 1 species at a time-- can anyone give me some helpful tips and recommend a good substrate to use

Have had great expansion results using agar to birdseed to chips.

Others claim PF style w/brown rice flour, spore inoculation [or agar] gives great spawn cakes [which could likely be pulverized for better colonization of the chips].

Great chip source, Little Chief brand smoking chips; alder, hickory, etc. Nice size.

One tip, you can put as much grain as you dare for incredible colonization speed of the woodchips, but expand this out keeping in mind that rodents love grain. Dilute out the grain a bit before setting an outdoor bed.

Typically done in an outdoor bed. Grow mycellium inside using normal methods then transfer onto woodchips, pssibly via cardboard. Then place in outdoor bed and wait for Mother Nature to do her thing in the fall.

Max, how much harder would you say pans are than cubs?

And how much harder would you say pans are indoors than outdoors???? 2 times harder?
