Yet another cobweb mold post (pics)

Welcome to the seven millionth or so post regarding cobweb mold. I opened my 1/2 pint jars in preparation for dunking and found what you see in the picture below. I'm new to this so I just can't decide whether I have a cobweb mold or what I'm seeing is just weak mycelium growth coming through the vermiculite. I know they say the mold is gray and the mycelium is white, but how gray is gray and how white is white? It looks kinda gray to me, but it's soo whispy it's hard to tell.
I really appreciate anyone's help.

Just spray it with some h202/h20 please and if it melts, it cobweb.
If that jar is 95-100% done then, its myc - if thats a few day old jar then its cobweb. But looks like myc to me on a done jar.

I have had mycelium growth enter the vermiculite level a couple of times. Usually this happens when the vermiculite gets a bit of moisture in it or you just waited a bit long to birth. This is probably mycelium in my opinion anyway, Enjoy and good luck.

It is a done jar. Thanks for the advice, and sorry for posting in the wrong place.
Mr. Moderator, would you like to move it please?

Alright assuming it's myc, before I dunk should I still try to scoop out the loose vermiculite that's on top and just take whatever light wispy mycelium comes with it?

Just leave the verm there. After dunking you should roll and cover your cake in verm anyway.

Yeah it's definitely mycelium growth. In my experience, when the cake is completely colonized with a strong network, it will start to transend into the vermiculite layer. You've done a good job.

looks like mycelium to me, cw grows in straight lines on top of the casing in 1 inch stands. Cw attacks the casing in most cases and not the sub, so it enters from the top. What you have my friend is 99% not cw and 100% paranoia
