I am a newbie, here is my setup. I cased Treasure Coast 2 days ago. Covered with wet pressure cooked Vermic PURE
I already see growth, (What looks like white fuzzy stuff) i am not sure if its mycelium, or cobweb mold. In the picstures below you can see, is that mycelium popping through, or is it cobweb mold, and if its cobweb, is there a way to know for sure, and shoudl i just spray it down with h202 3%?
Any advice, tips, anything.... would be greatly appreciated
Thanks MiNT

RE: "What am i looking for with cobweb mold, is it white and fuzzy just like mycelium?"
Watch the speed of growth. If it is truly cobweb it could cover the top of the tray in less than five days. (give or take...) Mycelum grows roughly 1/10th as fast. - A small low wattage (less than 20 watts) flourecent light on top for at least 48 hours - or a hydergeon peroxide treatment often can kill cobweb- as I hear it. One last thing, depending on the over all conditions a bad case of cobweb mold might have a very foul smell to it. (if it smells like shit... hehe)
If the mycelium strain is weak it might be easy to confuse it with cobweb for another day or two.
(I think that you have some bone-a-fied mycelium there)
*Sorry for shitty spelling!
