With the recent vibe here for the last little while, I think enter's post is well suited. True, good threads frequently get spoiled with soap opera tactics. "After all, you are all good people sometimes"....hmmm...perhaps there is a new motto for us to live by. Crobih has adopted it perhaps it should be spread. After all the statement IS TRUE. If you are here on the Shroomery everyone here shares at least one thing in common with you. Argue privately if you must...

What you have to say makes perfect sense Enter, and it's extremely gratifying to know that there are others out there who realize the power of this community and how so much of that energy is wasted on arguments and petty disputes.

This place is too special to let it be overrun with people lacking the ability to commune peacefully.

Sadly sometimes disputes have to occur, once the air is cleared people move on and hopefully something is gained by it.

We can't live in a totally peacefull, non-argumentative way of life....

Like always in life, things change and this little period will be behind us and things can go back to normal, well at least as normal as this place has been.

May peace reign on us now, I think everyone has said their peace... Time to move on.

You have more than two hands?

Oh, and "AMEN, MY BROTHA!!!!!!!" arguments are sometimes needed to releive the tension, but I don't think that there is that much tension here that we need all the mean posts

There is one very important lesson that I have learned throughout the years and live by it DAY TO DAY.

Think before you react. There is a reaction towards every action you make. That reaction effects your futre from every action you make. You are the master of your own destiny. Think before you react.

Well, I don't actually post much around here because I have learned more by listening than talking. I've only been doing this for about nine months going from "how the hell would I get the equipment" to finding the shroomery a few months back. I find this place an invaluable source of information. At the same time I cannot believe that people act the way they do toward each other now and then. This especially bothers me considering what we do. There is a reason people in our profession are so paranoid- everyone is out to get us; and if we can't even have the trust and support of our peers, this leaves our community in dire straights. We may not always agree and we may not always get a long but we all have a common bond for which we should show each other a little more respect and kindness. I completely agree with enter and I wish eveyone the best.

Enter, good post, but here is the problem. Firstly, everyone on here has a different agenda. Some are here to make money off this community, some are here to actually pick up information, and others are here to learn how to "grow pounds of magic mushrooms dude!!!". The one and only way to do away with people who cannot be civil, honest(big one), and those who give out false information, is for the moderators to regulate this board. Unfortunately, the vendors would bitch(less money for them :*( boooohooo), the influx of new people would decrease, and this board would start to shrink. However, just as I constantly remind those admins at Mycotopia.... regulation is a necessary must of an organized community. Even with all this business w/ McMan, and the threats etc. I don't think the moderator actually made a stand and got rid of some of these accounts. Get rid of the troublemakers, the little kids, the vendors' puppet usernames, and the shady folks here to make a living. A community run by businessmen isn't a community, it becomes advertisement for them.

Oooo this tea tastes like dirt, what is it....?
