I've just tried to contact him via. e-mail. I am not worried in details on his closure but rather if my money will be returned or if my syringes will be sent. I am worried that police might have me marked down as a potentional "grower" and come and bust me some day. I would like to comment that he did get kind of sloppy, regarding the safty of his business, in that he was posting pictures of his daughter holding a type of PC mushrooms. I hope that this has nothing to do with the police, and, that we will hear information concerning this soon. Please, let 3M be ok! He is a very nice guy!
Also, let this be a warning for everybody. I am quite sure that the police, feds, DEA and other "big brother" agencys know and perhaps frequent these bords looking for a next victim. Dont get sloppy. Do start posting solid evidence that could (and will) be used against you in the court of law. I really hope that this has nothing to do with the police but a mesage like this has them stinking all over it.

They can't prove that dried mushroom was magic, it would never hold up in court nor could land him in any trouble.
OK, so I just finished speaking to him on the phone. Heres the details:
All I can say is that there was some legal threat/problem, so he is taking no chances and will shut down his business for the safety of his family and customers.
Lets all wish the best for 3M and hope everything works out for him, he's a great guy and I hope his customers will understand this was done for all concerned.
phrozen, I don't know what to say for you, I will try to find out and let you know via PM, but I think its safe to say you won't be getting your spores.
PM me with the info, I will see what I can do for you.

isnt 3M in another country? (outside u.s)
if so, how could the system here (u.s) affect adversly a business in a foriegn country?
i dont think our system can do that nor do i believe they can obtain any business records (pending orders & addys) from another country, especially where laws are different....
there may be a possiblity that our system somehow/can intercept/s orders thru customs, but i dont know if 3m ships in a plain envelope or not.....

Sorry McMan I dont believe it would, just doesnt make sense. If they cant prove one dried mushroom was a psilocybe how could they prove that the "cubs" were one? Forget about "he admitted" unless they took it to trial and he decided to take the stand and admit it. They cant prove the statement is true.

worst news i've heard all day! 
i just got my first 3 syringes from 3M a week or so ago -- an AWESOME price, super fast turnaround, and he lives reasonably close to me (same province). I am very saddend by the shutdown (will have to find a US vendor in the future which will cost much more...maybe learn to use prints and try FSR). 3M i hope everything is alright -- I also hope that one day in the future i can deal with you again British Columbia style!

The problem here is that it wasent one, it was five! Five syringes I was expecting:
EQ, TC, GC, B+, and the new Malabar that I was going to test out on cakes for him. From this update I gather that, indeed, I will receive my money back and that, hopefully, I can find all the correct strains for roughly the same price. Since I am in Canada I checked out captainmaxmushroom but he doesnt have many of the strains that I want, I think only one. Does anybody know any other solid Canadian spore providers?

Bigwelby, i'm in the same position as you:
My friend recently ordered 3 syringes for the low-cost of $25. He was amazed at the fast turnaround (exactly 7 days) and the syringes worked great. Now, ofcourse, we need to find a new, good spore provider -- if you find one hollar at me!

I know how to make syringes, tried it out with some FSR prints once. The first time I failed, due to a "first-timer" error. Second time the sporeprint sucked (it was light and stuck to the paper). I'm thinking of ordering some syringes from CaptainMM. Maby the PF and a B+ and one more undecided. That should keep me busy for a while, I mean, any good cubie strain will do me for now. I hope my money gets turned around soon. Thanks a lot for being so kind guys -- and if i'm ever stuck I might ask you to help me out for a print (i'll pay for it -- im not cheap) but for now i'll just try and stay within Canada and work out my problems. Again, thanks guys for being so helpful -- it is nice to know I have somebody to count on.

I'll just mention that 3M once said he was into wicca and some of the townsfolk didn't like it. I know the area where 3M lives, it is heavily populated with Mennonites and Doukabours, these are old Russian religous sects. These people are famous for protesting by burning houses and marching in the nude. I've seen some of these old Russian women parading in the nude, it ain't pretty!
He once mentioned something about his shed/lab being blown up and he was moving to another town in the same area.
So that might be what 3M is up against although I can't say for sure.
Anyways, Canada's original spore vendor, the SporeLab.com, located near Vancouver, is still open. We were the first ones to sell 3 syringes for $25 and continue to do so. We've actually been winding down our operations in anticipation of a temporary shutdown, I may be heading to northern BC for the annual Matsutake harvest any day now.
So if anybody wants anything, order fast!

Wow, again, I must express my thanks to all of you that have offered to help out. Your business practices are A+ and i'm glad I have somebody to rely on. Well phrozen thats the idea, you get the syringes and not the money. Its likely a goner, if not 3m should just keep it since his friends are taking care of his orders for him.

Max, its defintately nothing to do with his religion, I've hear the whole story and it was something totally unrelated to that.
